3 simple steps to participate on PopulTrade ICO crowdsale

Every ICO has specific purchase rules and that is why we have summed up some guidelines so you are ready for the beginning of Populcoin ICO which will start on the 11th of December 2017 and end on the 15th of January 2017.
You can get full instructions on our homepage, but in this blog, we have stressed the most important features of every step so you will be able to get your Populcoins without any difficulties.
Step NO 1: Create an Ethereum wallet
The first step toward getting the Populcoins is the creation of an Ethereum wallet.
Here’s what you should know before creating your wallet:
1) We’ve given you a few options of the wallets we recommend. Pick the one that suits you best.
2) At the crowdsale, the only acceptable currency will be the Ethereum (ETH) so it is essential to have an Ethereum wallet.
3) Some wallets offer you the opportunity to retrieve a lost password and some don’t. In any case, make sure you backup all your key files AND the password (on a USB drive, another computer, an outside disk, etc.) once you have created an account to make sure they don’t get lost. You can also print it out or transcribe it in paper form. Don’t share your password and risk losing your currency!
4) You will also a wallet address which is similar to your bank account number — this one you can share so other people can send you the Ethereum.

Step NO 2: Buy Ether
With your Ethereum wallet all set up, the next step is to buy some ETH on an exchange.
Ether is a cryptocurrency that we will accept to buy Populcoin tokens. Just so you know, currently (3.11.2017 at 18:45) the ETH is worth $298.60 and the price of the ether will be locked from the day the crowdsale starts until the day it finishes.
On our page, we have stated thorough instructions for acquiring ETH on various exchange services.
What is important for you to know before buying ETH:
1) Since the cryptocurrency trading is in high demand, it can sometimes happen that the exchanges are temporarily unavailable. If this happens, you shouldn’t worry because your funds are safe in your account.
2) Firstly, you need to create one of the accounts we suggest on our website. All of them require verification data from you (it can take a while that they verify you, so make sure you don’t wait until the last moments).
3) You will have different payment options: credit card or bank account. Paying with your credit card is easier but adding the account is also recommended for buying larger amounts or for withdrawing resources from your account.
4) Use the option for additional security if it is offered on the platform. After all, it is your money on the line.
5) Once you have bought the ETH following the instructions on our page you should send it to your Ethereum wallet because you will need it for the crowdsale.
Be sure to send your ETH to the proper address of YOUR personal ETH WALLET (double check if needed) to avoid mistakes.
6) This step is really important. Do not send your funds to PopulTrade’s crowdfunding ETH address from an exchange, but only from your wallet, to which you control the private keys. If you send from an exchange, we won’t be able to send your PopulTrade tokens to you, and they’ll be lost!

Step 3: Contribute Ethereum to PopulTrade’s token crowdsale
On the 11th of December, when PopulTrade token crowdsale goes live, you’ll be able to contribute. Be sure to visit our “token crowdsale” section of the website to get the correct ETH address for contribution and all other necessary info.
Again:
MAKE SURE YOU’RE NOT TRANSFERRING YOUR ETH FROM AN EXCHANGE OR SIMILAR SERVICE. TRANSFER THE ETH TO POPULTRADE CROWDSALE ONLY FROM YOUR WALLET TO WHICH YOU OWN THE PRIVATE KEY.
1. Sending the contribution using MyEtherWallet
You will be able to send us the ETH after you have successfully signed into your wallet with a private key and password.
Then you will be able to send the ETH to the address which will be provided on our site under the column Token crowdsale.
Select the amount of Ether you want to send in exchange for Populcoins and before you send it, make sure you double check that the address and the amount are correct.
If your transaction is successful, your Populcoin (PCP) tokens will be sent to your wallet automatically. If you use MyEtherWallet, the Populcoin (PCP) tokens will appear in the “Token Balances” section. Make sure you hold and backup your private keys in order to access to your wallet.
