Introducing - Profile Pigeons!
We’ve been cooking up something new at Project Pigeon.
Our influence is now spreading cross-chain, as part of our overall metaverse strategy.
Say hello to the next generation of PFPs — Profile Pigeons (see what we did there?).

What are Profile Pigeons (PFPigeons)?
PFPigeons are our first collection of Pigeons designed to be profile pictures.
Not only do they look great on Twitter, Instagram, etc., but they will also be the first PFP usable within our upcoming metaverse.
What’s special about these PFPigeons?
Everything. I made them.
Alongside random visual traits, each Pigeon will have an allocated name and 3 traits. For example, meet Tyson below.
Not only could you therefore aim to get a Pigeon which looks cool, you could instead look for one with your name or traits which you may relate to.
Where can we get them?
We’re not giving away all of the details right now (where’s the fun in that?), but we are working hard to make this mint event happen as soon as we can, in a way that will not be detrimental to its success.
As we have more details to share, Twitter and Discord will be some of the first places to know.
What we can say is these Pigeons will not be on the Polygon blockchain.
Why cross-chain?
As we continue to expand what we’re doing, we want to make sure our projects are seen and accessible to those on other networks.
A number of polls on our Twitter have shown some preference towards Solana (both for NFTs and NFT gaming), and a recent poll suggested roughly 60% of respondents already own a Solana wallet. This already removes one key barrier for increasing adoption.
*Just because we are launching on other chains does not mean we are abandoning Polygon or any of our other projects. We have built a fantastic community, and we hope all of them will be supporting us cross-chain also. We added a hint around working cross-chain in our litepaper earlier this year.
How can we prepare?
If you do not yet have a Solana wallet, make sure to get one (here’s a tutorial for Phantom, but like all other chains, be careful with what you interact with and receive).
A whitelist will be available; make sure to keep an eye out for giveaways from us, some Solana projects, and some of our dear friends on Polygon.
I’m sure there will be a number of questions, and we will do our best to answer them all! We just wanted this update to be a little teaser of what’s to come.
We will be sharing frequent updates, news & promotional content on Twitter, so make sure to follow us, turn on your notifications, and share the word of what we’re doing!
How to Join our Ecosystem
By holding one (or more) of our Pigeon or Egg NFTs and playing their respective P2E games (Flappy Pigeon or Eggsplorer), you will be able to earn our utility token $VIVE. $VIVE can currently be used to purchase NFT Booster Packs, but will also have additional utilities both within and outside our metaverse experiences; examples of potential utilities include (but are not limited to) digital land, assets, and cosmetics.
Remember, these games are only P2E for Pigeon and Egg holders, so do not miss out!
