The last three years in Mexico have been dominated by Audi Sport Abt Schaeffler. Lucas di Grassi winning 2017 and 2019 and Daniel Abt in 2018. The team also boasts a further stat you may find interesting. Since the inaugural 2016 Mexico City race, neither Audi has been out of the points (top ten). This doesn't include di Grassi’s car in 2016 being underweight and getting DSQ after winning the race). Audi has been strong here, but will this continue in 2020? But first a track change…..for the better.

The track has been changed a little bit and this is definitely for the better! The main change is the nasty chicane at T3-T5 has been removed! Think back to the 2019 race where Nelson Piquet went over the top of Jean-Eric Vergne and tagged Alexander Sims who was an innocent bystander. A great move from Formula E to take this out of the track. …
