The Lunch Read: What You Read in 2016

The Lunch Read
9 min readDec 17, 2016

Last year, Adam London surprised us all with a highly organized listicle comprised of the most popular articles we featured in 2015. Eerily, it was this post that was his last on Medium before passing in late January 2016.

A year later, we look back on Adam’s sudden passing with fresh pain. Little did we know this traumatic event was just the start of more suffering to come: Orlando, Aleppo, the US Election, Bowie, Prince, Brexit, Syria, Zika, ISIS, multiple terror attacks. When you lump it all together, it‘s overwhelming.

But in true Adam fashion, we won’t focus on the negatives of the year. Instead we’ll give you some highlights, aka the top lunch reads of the year: read by you and of course, curated by our team. Have a look back at your year lunch reading.

We miss you Adam, and hopefully, we’re making you proud.
