Despite the decline in overall Web3 sentiment, the Web3 Film space is alive and well. Our last post highlighting those of you building in #Film3 got a lot of positive feedback!! And many asked when they would be on the list.

Well, at Vabble we don’t disappoint and as such, we decided to turn this into a weekly post to highlight those shaping the #Film3 space. Our goal is to provide a brief, easy to read resource for those wanting to learn about the Web3 Film industry and get involved.

Want to be featured in a weekly highlight? Shoot us an email: hello@vabble.com and tell us how you are contributing to the #Film3 industry.

Here is this week’s Top 10 #Film3 projects and persons to follow.

#1 Rewind (formally Blockbuster DAO) https://twitter.com/r3windxyz

Rewind is building a unique, share-to-earn ecosystem for content creators. Using their technology, content creators can incentivize their communities to share their work and receive rewards for organic marketing. Word-of-mouth and referrals create some of the most active and committed communities and Rewind allows creators to capitalize on this.

#2 Film Freako https://twitter.com/film_freako

Film Freako is deeeep into Web3 film and #Film3. Between being a director of Fantasy, SciFi, and Horror films, they are also one of our favorite Web3 Film influencers who regularly posts on the industry. We recommend giving them a follow to keep up-to-date with everything going on in the #Film3 space.

#3 Sophie Ablet https://twitter.com/sophie__ablett

Interested in supporting women in Web3 films? Sophie is a great resource to start. She is an award-winning actor who actively supports the Web3 Film industry and is an excellent figure for #Film3 information. Give her twitter a follow to learn more about supporting women in the space.

#4 Rfa Arroyo https://twitter.com/rafagarroyo

Rfa is a cinematographer and photographer based out of Madrid. They first came on our radar with their short film, Trazos del Alma, which received several film festival awards. Rfa has also created many Film NFTs and actively supports the #Film3 space.

This is one of our favorite tweets by Rafa, and mirrors our belief that Web3 will support the next generation of filmmakers (https://twitter.com/rafagarroyo/status/1571854969069834243?s=20&t=xlcKTsY9KQSF1nQ92U5_Wg)

#5 Gino Battiston https://twitter.com/GinoBattiston

Gino is an absolute powerhouse of an artist. Between photography, film, and digital art; they are embracing multiple platforms and chains to expand the reach of their work. One of our favorite pieces, Mostrador, is a short film NFT which can be viewed on OpenSea or LooksRare. We also recommend checking out their work on the Tezos blockchain.

#6 Miguel Faus https://twitter.com/miguelfaus

Miguel is an award-winning filmmaker and is creating one of the first European movies funded by NFTs @calladitafilm. We highly recommend following Miguel for their insight on #Film3 and use of NFTs to grant behind-the-scenes access to the production process.

#7 Alan March https://twitter.com/alanwmarch]

Alan is a film producer and discusses interesting topics on #Film3 on Twitter. Acting as a Web3 resource, he has tons of great information on how to get involved in NFTs and the Web3 film industry. Check out one of our favorite threads by Alan on how to get started in Web3 Film. (https://twitter.com/alanwmarch/status/1514274970267881474?s=20&t=cL5LYoLxVC2HPsDjPdpvLw)

#8 Charnick https://twitter.com/TheRealCharnick

Charnick….is an absolute beast. Being an independent filmmaker, editor, and creator; they created their own film https://www.niftyfilm.io/ and are supporting the next generation of filmmakers. Can’t say enough good things about their work. Just give them a follow already.

#9 Hidden Ones/Slenderman DAO https://twitter.com/hiddenonesNFT

Hidden Ones is attempting to acquire the IP rights to the original Slenderman game and produce a full-length movie for their community. This is an interesting take for the horror game community that we recommend checking out. Especially since they are decentralizing media IP rights.

#10 NFT FilmSquad https://twitter.com/NFTFilmSquad

Last, but certainly not least — is NFT Film Squad. Lead by the infamous @jordanbayne; they claim to be the architects behind the #Film3 movement, and we could agree more. Fostering a community of individuals around #Film3, they are the premier creative studio for decentralized content and community building. We highly recommend joining their discord to begin your journey in the Web3 Film industry.
