FairWin’s Diary. Part 6
Greetings, friends. Today is Friday, April, 13th, so it is an excellent day to tell you the news about the games by FairWin and everything that we’ve been working on this week.
Yggdrasil
The development of the Yggdrasil prototype is a little drawn-out, but apparently it is not news anymore. But for the first time I could play this game and test it. Certainly, there are still final touches that need to be put, that is why no player will see it until Yggdrasil is in ship-shape.
Besides, we have decided to alter the game a little and make it more Scandinavian. As I already told you, at first we did not draw inspiration from the mythology of Vikings, while developing the concept. But as it was decided to name the game about a magic tree Yggdrasil, so we made up our mind to bring more elements connected with the Scandinavian mythology. So we added the Raven symbol (the embodiment of Odin in the Scandinavian mythology), the Ruler of gods himself and magic runes. Some forest symbols have also been changed, for example, magic mushrooms were added. But I will not be a spoiler, soon you will see it for yourselves.
As you remember, we have three more slot games under development.
One of them — “Back to the 90’s” — will be executed in the style of the 80–90’s fightings. The game “Back to the 90’s” begins with a fight club. The main heroine Aiko and her ally Taro need to defeat opponents in duels to get into the gang to the Fatty Oni who is considered Rafu’s “right hand”.
The game action develops in the gloomy quarters of an Asian megacity where chaos, corruption and Rafu’s mafiosi rule. To get to him, Aiko and Taro have to join Oni’s gang.
It is possible that in the course of development the plot and concept will change.
The second game “Top Drop” is devoted to the Colombian smugglers delivering cargoes from Colombia to the USA. The player will need to escape a pursuit, pay off the policemen and carry contraband.
This week we have started to work on the concept of the fourth slot which will made in the horror genre. The plot develops in a small English town at the end of the 19th century. Patrick Bradshaw, the last representative of his family, has inherited an old mansion. The player will immerse himself into the dark secrets of the Bradshaw family and investigate mysterious events which occurred in this city. In a word, you won`t be bored. I will share all the details with you a little later.
