Personally, having data to inform my design has been a bit of a crapshoot and reliant on the company I’m working for. I’m trying to change that, and learn more about testing designs and getting information back from the product.

I updated to Dayone 2 and it seems like the prompts are no longer included. I poked around all the settings and options and couldn’t find them.
You make good points about internet censorship in China, especially taking into account the sheer size of the audience that’s missing out.
I’m curious, how do you personally deal with this constraint in your own work as a developer? Are there Chinese copies of common Western web services that you employ, or do you have to create crazy workarounds?
