The Twilight Store (S3:E4)

How fun it is to publish apps on the Google Play store

I edited the last video. Maybe the fact that I obscured most of the page where the text messages are displayed is not working for them, maybe it will be okay to only obscure the text and phone numbers. After all, what is the point of having text messages and phone numbers in clear? Will it change anything in demonstrating the functionality?

I published a new video: https://youtu.be/r77f6-Wgqo4

“Unable to verify core functionality of app
- Your in-app experience does not match the core functionality for your declared use case, Cross-device synchronization or transfer of SMS or calls
- Your video must show the use of SMS or calls on the Cross Device
- Additionally, we cannot confirm if the SMS feature is actually working because the message in the video is obstructed as shown in your video, “SMS and call log permission — 3” timestamp (1:53)”

Hmmm, it’s not going anywhere. Let me ask if they want to read the text and phone numbers. I don’t know how it will help in demonstrating the functionality but whatever.

me: “Text and phone numbers were obscured in the video for privacy issues. Is it necessary that the phone numbers and text be entirely visible?”

google: “Please submit a video that clearly displays the text messages on the external device in order to validate the functionality. Kindly note, sample text should be fine, and we do not need to see private info.”

If the “sample text” is fine, what is the point of showing it? And why don’t they declare in detail the requirements of the video so as to avoid this back-and-forth?

Don’t miss S3:E5
