The Wheel of Fortune is one of the most lucrative ways to spend gems in the game, with the ultimate prize being the hero shard of your choice and a slew of quality side prizes such as scrolls, epic and legendary troops, and coins. Events run from Monday’s reset to Monday’s reset and alternate with Card Master Events. With 200 daily spins available, you have the ability to build up a nice pile of shards per event. Each round of 200 spins costs around 20,000 gems, if you factor in the discounted first spin and the free spin vouchers you’ll likely get as prizes. If the marquee hero shard doesn’t interest you, it could be a good idea to wait for the next event and keep saving gems for the hero(es) you really want.
The first step is to find the game on the home screen. Then, get to spinning. The first spin of the event is free, and you also get a half price 60 gem spin each day at reset. Each round of 200 spins cost around 20,000 gems, if you factor in the discounted first spin and the free spin vouchers. If you do mostly 5x spins for 540 gems, each spin is 108 gems and 21,600 gems per 200 spins. If you do single spins, it’s 24,000 gems per 200 spins. So, save yourself 3,400 gems by doing batch spins.
There are also prize chests for set amounts of spins. 10 spins gets you 200 gems, which is hilarious because it cost you 1,080, but I digress. 25 spins gets you a single legendary shard of the featured hero. 50 spins are rewarded with 5 super card vouchers. 100 spins gets another single legendary shard of the featured hero, while 200 gets two legendary shards.
