The Story
Cryptoadz are small amphibious creatures that roam the swampy basin of what was formerly known as Uniswamp. Prior to minting, the Evil King Gremplin captured and exiled their leader, Colonel Floorbin, declaring his divine right to rule over them in the metaverse. This event became known as the “THE CROAKENING.” The original CrypToadz minting freed all 6969 CrypToadz from King Gremplin’s rule.
A part of the CryptToadz story is now told in our game entitled CrypToad Runnerz. Contrary to popular belief, the metaverse is no vacation picnic with only rainbows and daisies. Now that the Toadz are free to roam the metaverse, they now must cross deserts dodging tumbleweeds, race over highways avoiding billboards, and swim through the sea avoiding sharks to make it home. It is now up to their owners to guide through these obstacles, all while competing with other game owners for high scores!
Announcement
We are happy to announce our first official collaboration & tribute entitled Toad Runnerz. The idea for this collaboration was suggested by the CrypToadz by GREMPLIN team who provided us with official in-game CrypToad assets. From this inspiration the game & Arcades was then developed and created by ArcadeNFT. While the Cryptoadz are in the public domain and are free for anyone to use, we are proud to announce that this collaboration is officially sponsored by CrypToadz and a portion of the revenue from sales of the game will go to the CrypToadz Team and Creator.
About CrypToadz by GREMPLIN
CrypToadz was conceived and created by the artist Gremplin who has been described as the visual historian of the NFT space. 6969 toadz were created with a plethora of interesting features, unique characteristics, and many insider references and easter eggs.
For example, many toadz feature the trademark square glasses, a reference to the Nounz NFT project also by Gremplin. Some Toadz have a cigarette in clear homage to the 961 Cryptopunks which also have this characteristic. Toadz tell a visual story of creativity, fun, and homage to the NFT art culture. About CrypToad Runnerz
The mint will take place on Thursday, October 14, 4pm EST, 2021. More information and sneak peaks will be released between now and that date.
The first hour of the mint will be restricted to those who are holders of CrypToadz or Arcade NFTs. After the first hour, the mint will open up to anyone if it is not yet sold out. There will be a mint limit of 1 per wallet during pre-mint.

4 different contests for high scores will be announced after drop is done! The high scores will earn ETH and free future drops.

Music
We are happy to announce we also found an artist whom we think brings the game itself to a higher level. The music will be produced by none other than Kornél Kovács!
Kornél Kovács released his debut album The Bells 2016 and was awarded a Grammy the following year in the category “Electro / Dance of the Year. In 2017 he was named the world’s 15th best DJ by the British dance music magazine Mixmag. The second album Stockholm Marathon was released in 2019 and was awarded the following year. with P3 Gold in the category “Dance of the Year.” In 2009, he started the record company and music studio Studio Barnhus together with Axel Boman and Petter Nordkvist
