This Gaming x Web3 event, which took place on 27 June 2023 in Paris, is important because it’s one of the first times we’ve communicated via Smoothy Labs:
The BALLS-IN web3 game is being developed by our Blockchain Gaming Studio Smoothy Labs. It’s always cool to talk about BALLS-IN, but our aim is to create an ecosystem of interoperable games.
This event was the perfect opportunity to share our vision:
At this event, I gave an introduction to Web2 & Web3 Gaming, without going into too much technical detail, to raise awareness of certain important points before the round table discussion.

There was a varied audience in the room: passionate gamers, occasional gamers, non-gamers, NFT speculators/investors…
It was great for the diversity of questions!
Now it’s time for the round table:

During the round table, Antonin asked the right questions to explore a range of issues. In particular, the advantages of building a web3 game, but also the difficulties encountered.

We finished off with a few beers and some networking in a convivial atmosphere at WOJO Tolbiac, where I had some fascinating discussions! One in particular opened my eyes to an important point in the development of BALLS-IN.

In the next episode, we’re staying with W3C (web3conferences) but moving to Marseille for an NFT event!
All NFT events are centralised in Paris, so this had to change.
