Finding inspiration and staying inspired are things that just don’t happen, you have to be intentional about them. It is important to constantly stimulate your creativity, creativity is kind of like a muscle and you know you lose it or it gets weaker when you don’t use it.

How to stay inspired

  1. Talk to your peers
Having engaging conversations with super smart people you work with, sometimes these chats end up with you helping out with a design challenge, understanding what they are going through might make you think about your problem a little differently or inspire you to do something differently.
  2. Study others
Break down their solution to discover how they thought about them, it’s not just about copying their solutions it is about dissecting them and understanding what the problem was. Don’t copy but learn from them, this can inspire better solutions for products you build.
  3. Surround yourself with great designs
Look for ways you can keep inspiration around you it could be your home or your desk, it even serves as a reminder of what you want to achieve. It could even be just a more comfortable workspace just surround yourself with things that inspire you.
  4. Stay educated
Reading books is very important, stay educated on a variety of topics, not just design, it could be about things like development, facilitation or user patterns, or marketing. This could help you contribute thoughtful ideas whenever you discuss those types of topics.
  5. Design for yourself
Sometimes you might feel your work or ideas are not inspiring you or anyone else, you should probably think of ways you can design for yourself. It could be anything, it allows you to express some of your creativity and get back inspired to design
  6. Travel and explore
It exposes you to a new culture, different people, and different experiences. Immersing yourself in a place away from your home, you push yourself out of your comfort zone and it can open your eyes to new possibilities.
  7. Just take a walk
You don’t know who you may see or what you may encounter, you may even get inspired by your surrounding.

It is essential that you have a constant source of inspiration, Below are places you can find inspiration
