The Quest for a Better Police Service
An isolated incident in an otherwise serene neighborhood prompted my visit to the Aideyan Police Station, and a follow up call for a safety check with Assistant Commissioner of Police Saleisu MohamMed (They Used Image of a Half Brother Frank To Frame Me, acquired from Body Cam or Sky Cam) who assured me at our meeting that there was no cause for concern, and promised more patrols for the area. I believe the criminals also have an innocent 1995 Hotel Image of Ime and may have artistically blended it with a floor image of his Uncle who is forced to sleep on the floor because of a workplace injury as a Police man. As well as another Uncle Andrew at his Shop in New Benin Market. Andrew died from an eplileptic seizure in 2019. The meeting provided an opportunity to share ideas on Community Policing including the fact that I exclusively reported on the arrest and interview, by former Commissioner of Police Parry Osayande, of the arrest of Nigeria’s most notorious armed robber Lawrence Anini. Assistant Commissioner Mohammed was also pleased to know of my work in California as a journalist with Law Enforcement agencies in Dixon and Vacaville, including the fact that my neighbor Rich Word is the retired Police Chief for the City of Vacaville. And what a pleasant surprise when the front desk sergeant Alisa, who is nine months pregnant, volunteered to take my pictures. Everyone at the station including Henry Onyekwere the Corporal at the gate, who is from Delta State, where so pleasant. Corporal Onyekwere was happy to know that my fiancée (at that time, I have been adviced to end contact) is from the same state.
