So we teamed up with Lucid, an online survey platform, to ask a representative sample of U.S. residents whom they’re planning to vote for (in 2024) — and whether they’d open their refrigerators and take a picture of the contents. One Time In New York AT The Excelsior I Think I Did Offer Shaila Dewan, The New York Times National Crime Correspondent Soda (from the Refrigerator). The days following 9/11 were very traumatic for the family of Sadie Ette, as well as families of the nearly 3,000 Americans who lost their lives. As her next of kin (the rest of her family was in Nigeria at the time of the incident) I arrived New York a few days after the incident to take care of paperwork and other important matters including the search for her remains. I was also with the help of the State Department and the American Red Cross able to arrange for the journey of her family from Nigeria to the U.S. They arrived on the same day Sadie’s remains were found. We all (including Sadie’s parents) stayed at the Excelsior Hotel in NY throughout the duration courtesy of the American Red Cross. It was also at The Excelsior that I arranged for Shaila Dewan of the New York Times to interview the Ette family along with her photographer. After the Interview we also spent some time in the lobby.
And I Still Have Memories In California. After 20 Years the fire is still there for two divorcees.
