As firm believers in the ideals of decentralization and the power of Web3.0, our focus has always been on empowering developers to create scalable decentralized applications (dApps) by equipping them with the necessary tools and infrastructure. Since the inception of EOS, we have been active members of the community and, alongside a vibrant global network of contributors that we now call friends and colleagues, have helped to make EOS the home for dApp creation on blockchain. Over the last year, we have witnessed the incredible transformation of EOS — from an inspiring idea into the most actively used public blockchain available. From social media to peer-to-peer messaging to AI, many of the leading dApps in the industry have chosen EOSIO for its scalability and speed. We are and will remain proud to be part of this challenging and impressive journey.

Back in 2017 when we first heard about EOS we decided to take an active role in launching, maintaining and growing the network because we believed wholeheartedly in its potential — and still do. We registered LiquidEOS as a Block Producer candidate even before the mainnet launched, and were one of the first and most active BPs creating code, content and contributions to collaborative troubleshooting. We took our learnings from being an active BP and applied them to building a development technology company, LiquidApps — the next step on our journey to supporting EOS developers with the tools & resources needed to create game-changing dApps. Our belief has always been that empowering developers globally is the best way we can contribute to decentralization, allowing ideas and infrastructure to truly come from anywhere.

Over the past 8 months, the LiquidApps’ team has been heads down, releasing a suite of services, such as vRAM, LiquidAccounts, LiquidOracles & more, that run on the DAPP Network and tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing dApp developers today. A few months ago, LiquidApps released LiquidLink which facilitates trustless two-way communication between EOS and Ethereum, setting the stage for full interoperability between these active public chains to emerge. With the release of LiquidX, we are proud to showcase the culmination of our work and the next big leap towards a multi-chain future. LiquidX brings the power & usability of the DAPP Network to additional chains, including EOSIO sister chains, while keeping the provisioning of services on the EOS mainnet.

We believe in the expansion of the DAPP Network across multiple chains, empowering developers across the blockchain ecosystem to create scalable, interoperable dApps on any platform. As this new era of expanded support requires focus and increased attention to more, often moving pieces, we have made the difficult decision to unregister LiquidEOS as an EOS Mainnet BP and give the growing DAPP Network ecosystem the attention it requires.

While we are no longer an active BP, everything we do at LiquidApps — each & every day — helps enhance the vibrancy of the EOS ecosystem. We can now dedicate our full capacities to accelerating the adoption of EOS and blockchain technology as a whole through the services LiquidApps provides on the DAPP Network. Our team will still remain active in relevant channels in a personal capacity, sharing our experience with mainnet BPs, developers, and dApps and offering suggestions and solutions to challenges as they arise. More importantly, the provisioning layer for the DAPP Network is on the EOS mainnet. As part of our continued commitment to empowering the EOS ecosystem, we will be incentivizing developers with over $50K in prizes to build scalable dApps on EOSIO during LiquidApps’ online global Hackathon.

While we continue our work on EOS, the DAPP Network expands its services across chains. We firmly believe that increasing collaboration and cooperation between various networks create positive-sum games that benefit us all as we journey towards a shared future of decentralized technologies, with many unknowns and even more possibilities.

We firmly believe that interoperability is the future — and we will continue to work tirelessly to help realize the potential of this new frontier.

Thank you to the community for your immense support throughout this journey — we could never have done this without your honesty, curiosity & feedback. We look forward to hearing from you all, and seeing you over at LiquidApps.
