Following on from our Introduction to BREWSKI Labs

Autumn 2014: “Nobody wants a Mango IPA!”

The craft beer community is loyal, strong and opinionated, however, they also embrace change, if sometimes reluctant at first. Since the above quote was stated many times over in craft beer communities back in 2014, BREWSKI has gone on to sell a million cans of Mangofeber, released 415 fruit based craft beers and produces over 1 million cans of beer each year exported to 36 countries worldwide.

Summer 2016: “I drink craft beer, I’m not a festival going hippie”

A similar sentiment was given at the proposal to bring 100 breweries from around the world for a 3 day craft beer festival to a town in south west Sweden. 5 festivals later (2 missed due to covid), the average attendance is now 8000 people over the 3 days from all over the world and breweries are lining up to get a spot.

“What has crypto art got to do with Craft Beer?”

So here we are with the latest chapter in the BREWSKI story. Let me try to explain our thoughts, reasonings and how this could be the next evolution of craft beer communities.

Everybody has their favourites; favourite toy as a child, favourite film, favourite music. And given the opportunity to have that most wanted toy for Christmas, a piece of memorabilia from the movie set or a personalised handwritten note from your favourite artist most people would cherish this because it’s personal, unique and rare.

Art is similar, some people see it as just some random colours on a page
“I could do that”, others see it for its technical brilliance “Her eyes seem to follow you around the room” and others collect it simply because it appeals to them, it’s rare and they can afford it.

The craft beer community now has the chance to own a piece of their favourite drink in the form of the beer can artwork in the form of a digital picture called an NFT. Each piece being collectible and unique.

Whatever is your favourite beer, it’s personal and unique to you.

As well as the digital artwork, each beer can picture is made up of several different attributes such as can colour, ring pull colour, Brewski logo, text colour. With several possible colours for each, some much rarer than others. Combine the different attributes together and each digital artwork can is not only unique but also has a ranking in how rare it is.

The rarer the BREWSKI Collectible NFT digital art, the more real world value it has.

“So what is the NFTs real world value?”

Each attribute is linked to a reward category. The rarer the attribute the bigger the reward benefit. For example, the colour of the beer can for most of the NFTs is regular Silver coloured, however, some are Green beer cans and a few are Gold beer cans.

Green coloured beer cans give the owner the option to claim a unique VIP Brewing Package whereby you get flights and a hotel stay to visit the brewery in Sweden, create your very own beer with BREWSKI owner Marcus, name it and choose the graphics for it. That beer will then be distributed worldwide.

Gold coloured beer cans give the owner the option to claim a VIP Brewskival Festival Package. Starting with flights and hotel for two people, you are treated as a brewer attending the festival which includes many benefits such as free access to the whole area, beer, food, brewers lounge and entry to the sought for after-party.

Many of the beer can digital art attributes have rewards relating to them ranging from BARSKI gift vouchers, rewards related to BREWSKIVAL festival or rewards related to BREWSKI brewery. Therefore, a single beer can could have multiple rewards linked to it.

“How do i get one of these collectibles?”

Very simple, 3 steps:

  1. Get BREWSKI coins by taking part in either the whitelist sale, the general token launch or by swapping from USD or Ethereum in the liquidity pools.
  2. Buy a BREWSKI Silver Can NFT. All silver cans are (almost) the same and ALL silver beer cans cost the same for everyone. You can trade your silver can on the BREWSKI Marketplace or simply hold it and wait for the next phase.
  3. When the recycle bin is announced as open, you then swap your BREWSKI silver can and you are rewarded with a randomly selected BREWSKI Collectible NFT.

You are then free to claim any or all rewards the Collectible Beer Can has associated to it or sell/trade it on the BREWSKI Marketplace.

“So I buy BREWSKI tokens, get some BREWSKI art, claim my prizes, then what?”

This is not just a single event, we plan to prove the concept with our first collection, then have an annual collection of new NFTs with similar rewards associated.

We will also open up our platform to other breweries who don’t want to build up the crypto based technology but do want to have rewards based NFTs for their brand. For a listing fee (in BREWSKI coin of course) any brewery can list their NFTs and use our platform for their own brand or possibly even a collaboration with their own crypo token.

BREWSKI Labs aims to be the go to platform for Craft Beer rewards based NFTs for breweries and enthusiasts worldwide.

With just 1000 cans in existence for our first collection and rewards appealing to craft beer lovers across the world.

Stay tuned

In the coming weeks, we will release a series of posts to further explain:

  • the whitelisting process, how you can get on it and the reasons why
  • the use cases for the BREWSKI coin
  • the public crowdsale Token Launch and how it will work
  • And other useful walkthroughs on the basics of how to setup a wallet, fund it and make transfers.

In the meantime, follow us on Twitter and come say Hi on Telegram with any questions you may have.
