Welcome to the Daily Anime Recap for 12/11/22 (Sat). This recap will include a short summary as well as some key highlights of My Hero Academia 6, Raven of the Inner Palace, and Blue Lock.

My Hero Academia Season 6 — #7 Disaster Walker
Summary
In Jaku City, the backup heroes fight with newly-emerged Nomus while Endeavor, Ryuuko and Gran Torino get beaten down by Shigaraki. Shigaraki charges towards Aizawa who is preventing him from using his decay powers, but is intercepted by Izuku and Bakugou, with Endeavor joining shortly after.
At Gunga Mountain Villa, Gigantomachia awakes at Shigaraki’s summons alongside Mr Compress, Dabi, Skeptic, Spinner, and Himiko Toga. As the hero Cementoss traps ice-manipulator Geten, Re-Destro emerges and saves Geten, whilst ordering the Paranormal Liberation Front to follow Gigantomachia.
Various heroes, including Mt. Lady, Kamui Wood and Midnight, try their best to stop Gigantomachia’s charge. Midnight ends up grievously wounded by Mr Compress. Despite her injuries, she orders Creati a.k.a Yaoyoruzu to sedate Gigantomachia while she prepares to face off against other villains. Creati starts creating sedatives and devises a plan with Class 1-A and 1-B to stop Gigantomachia.
TL;DR
The heroes continue fighting against Shigaraki and Nomus at Jaku City and Gigantomachia and the Paranormal Liberation Front at Gunga Mountain Villa but things only get more dire.
Raven of the Inner Palace — # 7 Glass Prayer
Summary
Bingyue threatens Shouxue in Jiujiu’s body to demand Shouxue’s help, but he accidentally injures Jiujiu’s neck. Enraged, Shouxue forcefully tears his spirit out of Jiujiu and nearly exorcises him before Gaojun stops her.
After calming down, Shouxue deduces that Bingyue wants her to help Princess Mingzhu, his aunt from another family line. In the past, Bingyue changed his surname to marry Mingzhu, but he was beheaded by former emperor Yandi and became a ghost. He later sees Mingzhu’s unresponsive spirit and tries communicating with her to no avail.
Back in the present, Shouxue, Bingyue, Gaojun, and Wei Qing visit Mingzhu’s ghost. Shouxue digs up a comb which is Mingzhu and Bingyue’s betrothal’s gift. Mingzhu regains her emotions and both Mingzhu and Bingyue depart; Gaojun decides to bury the comb in their graves.
Later that night, Shouxue goes to Gaojun’s room and exorcises a curse from the former empress dowager. She reveals that Consort Xie and Ding Lan‘s spirits are protecting him from the curse. Gaojun thanks Shouxue and promises to help her despite her refusal.
A few days later, Shouxue attends a tea party with Huaniang who passes her some words from Gaojun. She returns to her palace and sees Gaojun waiting for her. He explains that he repealed the death penalty for the Luan family, allowing her to reuse her surname.
Gaojun swears an oath to Shouxue as the king of summer to the king of winter that he will never kill her, fight with her and to treat her as the winter king in private. Gaojun then bows to Shouxue as gratitude towards the past winter kings, moving her to tears and earning her respect. Before he leaves, Gaojun also promises to be her friend and bring her a wooden rose carving.
TL;DR
Shouxue helps Bingyue and Mingzhu to depart in peace; Shouxue also helps Gaojun exorcise the empress dowager’s curse; Gaojun repeals the death law of Shouxue’s former family, bows to her and all the former winter kings, as well as promises to be her friend.
Blue Lock — # 6 I’m Sorry
Summary
Isagi and team Z discuss their strategy against team W. Kuon, their usual strategist arrives late but proposes a three-shift three-player rotation to contain team W’s Wanima brothers. Their plan initially plan fails and the Wanima brothers taunt Chigiri with their past history. However, Isagi manages to retake the ball and score the first goal with Kuon’s help. Team Z also scores two more goals.
The Wanima brothers finally score their first goal after halftime. Kuon reassures his teammates and gives a weak pass to Isagi, only for team W to intercept and score another goal. Isagi suspects Kuon and observes that Kuon intentionally missed the ball.
Isagi confronts Kuon and the Wanima brothers admit to fixing the match. In exchange for Kuon’s betrayal, team W allow him to score three goals. Even if team Z loses, Kuon can still advance to the next selection round as the top scorer. Kuon admits that team Z’s last minute wins and strategies gives them a low winning chance against team V, their next opponents. Team W scores one more goal and now the marks are 4–3.
TL;DR
Team Z goes against team W; Team Z still wins despite being betrayed by Kuon; Kuon admits that team Z might not win against team V, which was what motivated him to be a traitor.
