Face so symmetrical
So conventionally beautiful
Dimpled and young
What a fortuitous genetic lottery
“Asked for an almond milk latte on the house.
Got it on the house.”
Cute
I chuckle and shake my head
But I come back the next day
We partner in this daily digital exchange
She offers me her vain beauty to freebase in hypocrisy
I offer her my digital validation to shoot up in ephemeral rapture
& dopamine is our universally accepted currency
What curious commerce governs a modern life
