For this 2-week research and design sprint in 2018, I was paired up with a fellow GA UXDI student Vandana Bailur.

I was tasked to create a simple mobile application that could help a common problem she faces in her day-to-day life.

Through user research, I had to identify any pain points she was experiencing, to then create initial solutions that could alleviate her frustrations. These concepts were then tested and iterated through paper prototypes. Followed up by a branded hi-fi prototype.

Volunteering for Action for Children

A couple of weeks ago after reading this post, I decided to sign up to volunteer for Action for Children, a charity helping disadvantaged children across the UK through fostering or adoption, and by intervening early to stop neglect and abuse.

As a recent project manager turned into UX designer, I’ve continuously been looking for all sort of ways to enhance my UX skills. I’ve worked on several conceptual projects but personally felt that I’d rather utilise my time and skills towards worthwhile causes such as Action for Children.
