Have you ever wondered how color influences your emotions? If so, this is the right blog for you!

Hey everyone, today I will be evaluating this linked website to reflect on the different lessons about web design that we can extract from the source.

Lessons Learned

The website talks about web design color theory and focuses on the different emotions we feel from colors. It teaches us about contrast, which helps make certain elements pop out in a web design. It also teaches us about vibrancy, which can evoke specific moods depending on the vibrancy of the color. Vibrancy can allow us to alter the different impressions from our viewers, such as having a darker yellow exude a sense of authority, while a bright yellow could promote more enthusiasm.

Colors

There are many different colors that are useful for creating different moods and tones to our websites. Below are some examples.

Red can be used to promote power, importance and youth. These colors would be useful if someone wants their business to have a powerful reputation or attract business customers who are power and youth oriented. However, the color red can also incite anger or overstimulation.

The color orange can promote friendliness, energy and uniqueness in a website, and would be efficient for more innovative businesses. The color orange can also engage the audience more and evoke moods of creativity.

The color yellow promotes happiness and enthusiasm, which would help businesses if they wanted a more friendly-looking website design.

The color green could promote stability and growth, which could be used in websites that agree with those qualities.

The color blue promotes calmness, safety, openness (for lighter shades) and reliability (for darker shades), which can all be helpful in websites that want their customers to feel those feelings. It can also help businesses if their company goals resonate with those feelings. The blue color can also be used to exude trust and reliability when used correctly in different visual settings.

Black can dominate colors or evoke feelings of sophistication. This can be used to create feelings of elegance in websites.

White can promote cleanliness and simplicity, which could be used on websites for minimalistic looks. Using the color white can help a business when they want to create a reputation that promotes cleanliness and minimalistic.
