  • You need to add your OpenAI API key in the settings of MacGPT

  • Heptabase is the software I currently use for learning, using ‘Zettelkasten’ card as the smallest unit, where each card records a single idea or piece of knowledge. These cards are interconnected and organized into a whiteboard, turning into a web of knowledge.

  • Rectangle is a convenient Mac window management tool that can help you manage your application windows more efficiently.
  1. Maximize: Adjust the window to fill the entire screen.
  2. Near Maximize: Adjust the window to a size close to maximized.
  3. Maximize Height: Adjust the window to the screen height while maintaining the original width.
  4. Minimize: Reduce the window size.
  5. Enlarge: Increase the window size.
  6. Center: Center the window on the screen.
  7. Restore: Return the window to its previous size and position.
  8. Move to Edge: Move the window to the left, right, top, or bottom edge of the screen.

  • Alfred is a productivity tool that, through shortcuts, allows for quickly launching applications, searching for files, web queries, and customizing workflows among other features.
  • The configured Alfred Hotkey will bring up this input box.
  • Quick search for apps, search for documents, look up the dictionary, calculation functions

  • Although the default screenshot tool on Mac is quite convenient, when it comes to editing, CleanShot X is far superior. Remember to set up the shortcuts for CleanShot X and to disable the original Mac shortcuts.

  • The side bar in Arc is divided into four sections: the shared area, the pinned area, the temporary area, and the workspace area, which can be quickly toggled open and closed using CMD + S.
  • Set up multiple Space spaces to categorize frequently used web pages
  • Supports YouTube Mini Player : when playing a YouTube video, switching pages will display a small playing video window in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
  • Easel (dashboard) feature : similar to whiteboard functionality, allows for note-taking while querying data.

  • PopClip, in addition to simple copy and paste, web search to translation and other complex tasks, can also be enhanced with more features through the use of PopClip extensions.   • TextSniper is an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) program for Mac that can extract and recognize all non-searchable and non-editable text on the Mac screen. It is capable of extracting text from images, scanned documents, PDF files, and even videos
  • If you have an iPhone or iPad nearby, you can use ‘Import from iPhone or iPad’ to take a photo and then conduct OCR scanning
  • URL that supports reading QR Code images
  • Additional features can convert OCR text to speech
