We are excited to announce the launch of the Common Interest alpha release on the Rinkeby network.

This release is the culmination of months of work on our Ethereum based incentive and governance protocols combined with the first application built on top of it, the Organization Dashboard.

As we laid out in our vision statement, Common Interest enables an organizations stakeholders to earn ownership through their contributions. We align the incentives of users, employees, founders, and investors. Thus unlocking the powerful growth potential of organizations.

Try it today on Rinkeby

We’re testing our platform in collaboration with CryptoNYC, a NYC based blockchain community.

CryptoNYC is using Common Interest to align the incentives of all its stakeholders and members. Anyone interested in contributing can purchase CNYC tokens, apply for membership in the organization, propose and fulfill tasks (like organizing events, doing marketing and PR activities, opening operations overseas, ect.), or propose updates to the organizations governance parameters.

Important: In order to apply for membership, you need to make sure to buy 10 CNYC tokens on the home page.

Video Guide

Please watch the following video for a detailed run through on how to use the dashboard on Rinkeby.

Tokenization of CryptoNYC is just the beginning

We are delighted to kick off our alpha testing with the CryptoNYC community. This marks the beginning of a series of testing with organizations over the next few months, before we are launching on mainnet.

We are working with and targeting global organizations in 4 target verticals:

  1. Blockchain organizations: Organizations building building global blockchain products and communities (Similar to CryptoNYC).
  2. Service professionals networks: Organizations grouping professionals around a common interest, especially in the Design and User Experience (UX) domain.
  3. Co-working space providers: Organizations, like for example WeWork or Rent24, who are hosting thousands of companies and members.
  4. Software development organizations: Organizations grouping around a common interest in software development, like for example computer vision or virtual reality.
