Poetry — The doves and the eagles fill the sky with beauty and grace, but my thoughts have been plagued with nagging questions, like tangled clouds that pattern the heavens with shades of grey. I realized that, in matters of love and heartbreak, I have been fueled by apprehension, resentment, and anger. The wounds and scars of my past. I asked if they are useless emotions for one to carry. Or are they truly my fortress?
