Role and Responsibility of RAID Node
RNL will be comprised of individuals or organizations that are part of the RAID Alliance and can contribute to the ecosystem. As stated earlier, RAID nodes are selected as validators of RAID after clarifying the subject of operation, releasing technology and node performance for block creation, obtaining the trust of token holders. Initially designated by RAID Foundation, each node will then be qualified for its ability and influence through RAID on-chain governance.
If one performs any malicious actions on the RAID Chain, such as double spending, the benefits of the entire RNL will be reduced. Moreover, if an individual node act wrong, it will slash part of the RAID token that the node has and the certain amount provided by node operation.
As long as the maintenance of the RAID blockchain is delegated to the node, the transparency and integrity of the nodes determine the resilience of the RAID blockchain. Therefore, if the nodes can take full advantage, they will fulfill their obligations.
