Bounty 5: Gitcoin Metamorphosis Hackathon Winners!

Since the end of Bounty 5 which took place during Gitcoin’s Metamorphosis Hackathon, our judges have been working hard evaluating the 52 amazing submissions from our bounty participants. Today, we’re finally announcing the winners of the 21 best entries and their prizes.

With seven different bounty categories, we are excited to reveal the three winners from each category and highlight their various submissions.

Submissions and Prizes

Here’s a quick summary of the top three candidate’s submissions in each category in Bounty 5:

Data Collection

• denz-e’s submission for querying various NFT phishing scams to help understand the number and value of NFTs stolen, and the impacts to the NFT community won 2250 USDC and 1 Vigilante NFT.
• For data collection from Forta, Etherscan, and Chainabuse around Forta’s Ice Phishing 2.0 agent, tf0rs gets 1250 USDC.
• For querying marketplace contracts and checking them against Forta’s API, giraffekey gets 500 USDC.

Data Collection Ideas

• ttigre’s submission which highlighted 3 ideas including an idea for distinguishing between user interaction and contracts won 750 USDC and 1 Vigilante NFT.
• denz-e’s submission for multiple ideas including a process to collect a comprehensive breakdown of all NFTs stolen from phishing gets 500 USDC.
• mohd-taqiuddin’s data collection process script gets 250 USDC.

Data Analytics

• A 2250 USDC prize goes to tf0rs for an analysis of the output of Forta’s Ice Phishing 2.0 agent and 1 Vigilante NFT.
• IIjxx1 (Scamsniffer) gets 1250 USDC for their Dune dashboard based on NFTs transferred to phishing addresses and resold.
• coffiasd gets 500 USDC for sharing their breakdown of stolen NFT data from Trait Sniper.

Data Analytics Ideas

• denz-e gets 750 USDC in this category for proposing processes for a comprehensive breakdown of stolen NFTs and 1 Vigilante NFT.
• For proposing a process for analyzing verifiable credentials in Web3, nescampos gets 500 USDC.
• ttigre gets 250 USDC for proposing 5 different data analytics ideas.

Data Visualizations

• A Dune dashboard showcasing the impact of NFT phishing scams by denz-e gets 1000 USDC and 1 Vigilante NFT.
• tf0rs’ Dune dashboard showcasing outputs of Forta’s Ice Phishing 2.0 agent gets 600 USDC.
• A Malicious Wallet visualization Graph by soptq gets 400 USDC.

Data Visualization Ideas

• Several visualization ideas from denz-e gets 500 USDC and 1 Vigilante NFT.
• garythisside’s compilation of several Dune Dashboards related to scams and attacks get 300 USDC.
• A compilation of several dashboards visualizing scams and attacks by mohd-taqiuddin won 200 USDC.

Recon NFTs

• A entertaining journey through the world of VPNs captured in a Twitter thread by ivanmolto gets 500 USDC and 1 Vigilante NFT.
• mawut0r’s explanation of the implications of IP logging wins 300 USDC.
• Creation of an NFT similar to the ReconNFT that logs browser fingerprints by tanas0 wins 200 USDC.
