{ Democratic DAO Collectives }: A Peer to Peer { neoWorld Bureaucracy } System

DAOs, or Decentralized Autonomous Organizations, are digitized spaces where collectives of interested people can socially organise around a particular idea, concept, business, social network, municipality, unions, associations or many other as of yet thought of social structures. What is unique about DAOs is the transparency and verifiability of collective social actions within regards to elections and asset management in particular. Fundamentally, this process of governance and asset management within a { Collective Trust } is not a novel concept in and of itself. Such practices can be traced through time to the furthest reaches of human memory. Family Units, and I use this in the broad Judith Stacey sense, were the first social organisations to form; over time these Family Units coalesced through mutual self-interest into larger Social Organisations. The evolutionary shift from micro-level Family Units to macro-level Social Governance entities precipitated trust deficits among the constituent Family Units within the overarching governance framework, catalyzing the adoption of mechanisms aimed at fostering { interFamilial Trust } to underpin the functionality of social governance structures. Put simply, Family Units created tribal mechanisms to socially organise but due to the { Individualist Ego }, { problems of (t)rust } were created; to mediate this { problems of (t)rust } issue, Tribal Structures were created. These initial Tribal Structures are considered by some a utopian ideal to which we could emulate and integrate into modern social structures. Peter E. B. Coy’s work, Social Anarchism: An Atavistic Ideology of the Peasant, is an excellent example of this utopian ideal; however, there are serious logistical challenges to a Social Anarchism, or what Murray Bookchin describes as Libertarian Municipalism.

DAOs offer a medium to realise what Bookchin describes as “a ‘new politics’ — one that is genuinely new — “ and a politic that “must be structured institutionally around the restoration of power by municipalities”. A radical grassroots Libertarian Municipalism can now be realised through DAOs as { Democratic DAO Collectives }: A Peer to Peer { neoWorld Bureaucracy } System. For too long has our world collective democracies remained static on the sacrosanct belief that we have reached the pinnacle of human democratic organization. Through DAOs we can create a modernized space for Coy’s Atavistic Ideology of the Peasant.

DAOs represent the next social governance revolution that combines technological advancements in cryptography with novel ways of mathematically gaining consensus on { Data Truth }. Truth in this sense means verifying the contents of the data but not necessarily validating the { Truth } of the content of the data. For example, I could verify the following phrase :

The June Vancouver sunsets have : Polkadots : at noon.

: onto the Bitcoin blockchain by utilising the BIP-70 protocol. Maybe I could even write a program to verify this phrase :

import {_Democratic_DAO_Collective_} from {_blockChain_} as blockchain

for phrase on blockchain:
if "The June Vancouver sunsets have Polkadots at noon." == phrase:
print("Phrase on { Democratic DAO Collective } and this blockchain
is on the global decentralized { blockChain governace }
DAO protocol."

else:
print("Phrase NOT on { Democratic DAO Collective } but this
blockchain is on the global decentralized
{ blockChain governace } DAO protocol."

: Nevertheless, regardless of the blockchain's verification of the phrase :

The June Vancouver sunsets have : Polkadots : at noon.

: the content of that verified BIP-70 block is nonsensical and not truthful from a syntactically objective analysis : Firstly : sunsets do not happen at noon : Secondly : unless there is an : Hallucinogenic : reason for the : : Polkadots : : we can all objectively agree : from an : a priori : sense : that : Vancouver : sunsets do not have : Polkadots : although : … : it would be kinda cool if they did : … :

Sufficing to say : while we can { Validate } the { Truth } that :

{ on such and such a block } + { on such and such a blockchain }

: there was etched :

etch(‘The June Vancouver sunsets have : Polkadots : at noon.’)

: we should not presuppose the logical truth of the syntax itself; however, it is this { Verifiability Dialogic } which is the game changer for social organization. In my article, { DAO Efficiency } for Corporate Structures and { Democracy }, I closely scrutinize the concept of (t)ruth and the formation of a { Trustless Dialogic Consensus Logic }; thus, I will not to delve into it further within the scope of this discussion but to say that the manifestation of the { Verifiability Dialogic } needs that { Verifiable Truth }. The { Verifiability Dialogic } arises from the { Verifiable Truth } imparted by blockchains. The { Verifiability Dialogic } is actualized through the trustless structure of the { Trustless Dialogic Consensus Logic }.

How does the { Verifiability Dialogic } materialize? Although we may have confidence in the inscription of specific syntactic constructions onto a blockchain, the coherence of their syntactic logic remains in question. This lacuna is where the concept of { Verifiability Dialogic } emerges. Through the synthesis of a { Trustless Dialogic Consensus Logic } and { Zero-Knowledge Proofs }, a { Verifiability Dialogic } is forged, facilitating the verification of sources and conferring verifiable authenticity upon the syntactic constructs. An analogy can be drawn to the scholarly citation practices wherein the validation of thesis claims mirrors the authentication of { Syntactic Logic } within the { Verifiability Dialogic } framework. Simply put, the { Verifiability Dialogic } allows us to contextualize the { Truthfulness } of an any content on the blockchain. In addition to providing a dialogical methodology to a { Libertarian Municipalism }, this { Verifiability Dialogic } will act as a booster juice for AI models as shown by OrginTrail.

The { Verifiability Dialogic } of blockchain technology gives rise to DAOs and their ability to verifiably socially organise. Put another way, the { Verifiability Dialogic } creates the social substrate for { Democratic DAO Collectives }: A Peer to Peer { neoWorld Bureaucracy } System. At present, our (d)emocratic systems rely on (b)ureaucratic redundancies to ensure (t)rustworthy (a)uthentication and establish a (r)eliable (e)nvironment for our (d)emocratic politic. DAOs give us the tools to rid our (d)emocracies of (b)ureaucratic redundant inefficiency of authenticity and in so doing we create efficient and nimble { Bureaucracies } to execute the will of the { Democratic DAO Collective }.

A short but important word on { Bureaucracies } as I know some of my { Anarchist Comrades } would murder me for ever printing such a word in relationship to { Governance } and in particularly in juxtaposition to { Democracy }.

print(“I respect your { Dissent }.”)

In the defence of { Bureaucracies } there is a logistical component to executing the will of a { Democratic DAO Collective }. We need our { Comrades in Social Governance } manifesting as a the { Process of Execution } within a { Democratic DAO Collective } otherwise known as the { Bureaucracy } of the { Democratic DAO Collective }. A { Municipal Collectivist } approach, as structuralized by Bookchin, must have some semblance of { Bureaucracy } in order to govern in a collective way. Roads need to be built. Buildings need appropriate inspection and regulation. Every municipal collective needs a development plan so you don’t get the Dog Food Factory in the middle of a Residential Cul-de-sac. This takes people with dedicated jobs to oversee. The revolution of the { DAO Social Substrate } is in its collective capacity for { Bureaucratic Collaboration } on a level never before attainable. Further, as all democratic transfers of power are programmatic, and based on the { Verifiability Dialogic } of one’s { Identity } on the { DAO Blockchain Account }, which is managed by the { Democratic DAO Collective } for { Authenticity } through the { Verifiability Dialogic }. As such, by integrating a { Democratic DAO Collective }, we do not have to suffer the questions about election validity. Through this process of { Social Logic }, similar to the idea of programmatic { Business Logic } executing on a blockchain, we can create a { neoWorld Collaborative Bureaucracy } to execute the will of the { Blockchain Sovereign }, of which our { Bureaucratic Comrades } are members, otherwise known as a { Democratic DAO Collective }. These { neoWorld Collaborative Bureaucracies } will be highly auditable and managed as a { Collective trust } -> { “By the People, For the People” } :

Somebody = print(“Ok cr0n. This is wonderful. But … like … how?”)

: The concept of DAOs are still very novel; how all this will actually be able to manifest in some efficient way will have to be a marriage between :

… Interfacing & Blockchaining …

: While we entertain lofty theoretical aspirations, the tangible alignment with technical constraints has yet to progress to a stage where surrendering the reins of our communal democratic spheres to this nascent technology; so as we sail upon Nietzsche’s endless sea of human possibility, with a zest for the { Übermensch } of { Change } and a { Will to Power } -> what { Brave } endeavours shall we, { Intrepid Explorers }, embark upon in our quest for a { neoWorld Democratic DAO Collective }?

Get involved. Come hang out. There are many great DAOs all over the blockchain sphere. No one DAO is the Meta-DAO of all DAOs. There are many choices and DAOs with which focus on in particular. Create your own local DAO in your community. Municipalism is about just that. Your municipality. The majority of the world lives in municipalities and pretty much all people live in some section of community. Those are the Analog DAOs, or aDAOs, waiting to be digitized into a { Democratic DAO Collective }. By doing this you start testing the infrastructure with which humanity will one day create the { First Republic of the Democratic DAO Collective }. For this to manifest we need to use the hell out of this technology so that one day we might ascend into the aspirational utopian heaven of a { neoWorld Democratic DAO Collective } while realising the { Iteration of Self-Reflective Democracy } is essential and aspirational utopia is praxis. A { neoWorld Democratic DAO Collective } is in continual and : ceaseless praxis : which emulate the : ceaseless iterations : of our new and eternal { Blockchain Memory Inscription System }.

One DAO I’m part of is the InvArch Embassy DAO. It runs on Tinkernet and uses the TNKR token. Tinkernet is part of the InvArch Network which is built on Substrate technology. Tinkernet itself is secured by the Kusama Network. Both Tinkernet and Kusama are production level { Canary Chains } and not testnets . This idea of a { Canary Chain } is an allusion to the canary in the coal-mine idiom. The idea being that you can take more risk to test out novel ideas without risking your primary chain which runs on Polkadot. The InvArch Network’s Polkadot blockchain, called InvArch, is online as a parachain on the Polkadot Network. Currently InvArch will be airdropping 15 million $VARCH, which are the token, or asset, of InvArch, to accounts that participate in Tinkernet and then InvArch; InvArch has not had its UX debut but is currently running on the Polkadot Network. Once that airdrop happens, and the InvArch interface comes online, you will be able to earn $VARCH rewards for staking in DAOs you support or have interest in. Eventually, collectives of interested people will be able to start their own DAOs. On a long enough timeline, and through billions of iterations by billions of people, the first { neoWorld Democratic DAO Collective } will come into being.

In fact, I would argue, as Marx and Engels did in the Communist Manifesto, that history trends towards human emancipation and { Democratic DAO Collectives } are an inevitability of human social development; similar to Marx and Engles’ declaration of the inevitability of communism as a collapse of capitalism’s veracious appetite for exploitation and capital centralisation (I acknowledge this has not come to frution as Marx and Engles predicted). Further, in some sense, a { Democratic DAO Collective } is a vector point where Marx and Engels’ idea of the proletariate ceasing the levers of production and power could finally be realised. Or put another way, DAOs are a vector point where radical decentralized democracies can materialize in the endless iteration of class struggle (communism, like capitalism, does not necessitate totalitarianism despite the best efforts of western capitalist democracies to characterize it as such; there are many examples of capitalist totalitarian states like Augusto Pinochet’s Chile). Despite Fukuyama’s presupposition that western liberal democracy represented the “end point” of mankind’s ideological evolution, subsequent events such as the resurgence of nationalism, the rise of populism, the challenges to democratic institutions, and now the emergence of DAOs, have underscored the incomplete nature of historical progression. Marx’s dialectical materialism posits history as a continuous struggle between opposing forces, suggesting that Fukuyama’s assertion of the End of History was premature and overly deterministic. { Democratic DAO Collectives } represent an invigoration point for social / class struggle. The tools DAOs will develop over the iterative years will give humanity the capacity for { Radical Democratization }. Let us be clear though, DAOs are amoral tools and can be used for both oppression and emancipation. They can be exclusionary or inclusive. How a DAO is used to either control, or liberate, humanity is based on the founding DAO collective and how it chooses to organise itself. Weighty decisions to be certain; and ones we cannot get wrong.

So what sets the InvArch Network apart from other DAO choices emerging? As I’ve discussed extensively in other writings, the essence of any organization, whether it’s a Corporation/Business, School Board, Union, Association, etc., revolves around asset control and deployment, rooted in robust { Business Logic }, { Social Logic } and { Security Redundancies }. InvArch Network’s Saturn Multisig is a game changer for DAO Asset and Social management.

You might be asking, what is a “MultiSig”? The word MultiSig is basically short for Multi-Signature Account. This means that it requires the { Social Logic } of multiple signers to deploy assets thereby increasing security by decentralizing asset deployment. This is basically a digitization of what traditional bank’s call joint accounts or multi-party accounts.

What makes InvArch’s Saturn MultiSig a game changing protocol? The InvArch Network, secured by Polkadot and Kusama and anchored by Tinkernet, sets themselves apart from other emerging DAO network choices in many ways, but it is the Saturn MultiSig tech which has the capacity to revolutionize democratic asset management and deployment while increasing asset security. The Saturn MultiSig, pioneered by InvArch Network, represents a groundbreaking leap in DAO asset management. Unlike conventional multisig solutions confined to specific chains, InvArch’s Saturn MultiSig transcends these limitations, offering a :

👀 : Unified : Bridgeless : Non-custodial MultiChain : 👀

: access protocol. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Threshold Signature Scheme (TSS) and Cross-Consensus Messaging (XCM) format, Saturn enables a single multisig deployment to seamlessly manage assets across diverse blockchain ecosystems :

👀 : From Bitcoin and Ethereum to Polkadot and beyond : 👀

: This is only possible on the Layer 0 Polkadot Network with seamlessly secure XCM Messaging and other scailing tools not available to Layer 1 blockchains like Ethereum. With the capability provided by InvArch Network to securely own, manage, and utilize accounts across various networks, Saturn functions as a universal layer for multi-party ownership and computation. Additionally, Polkadot and InvArch Networks have the capacity to scale to billions.

Now we, intrepid voyagers, can sail into new democratic waters and think of other novel ways humanity could organise itself socially and economically.

La Poésie est dans La Rue!

Bring forth the { neoWorld Democratic DAO Collective }!
