Celebrating CL’s One Year Anniversary
It’s officially been a year since we launched the CL Platform to the UK & the EEA.
It’s crazy how time flies, right? But we couldn’t ignore this important milestone in our journey. So, to celebrate our one-year anniversary, we want to look back at everything we’ve achieved since our first launch.
November 2022 — CL is released to the UK & EEA
The CL Platform is released to the UK & countries in the EEA. This includes launching the CL Card powered by Ledger, which is accepted by over 90 million merchants worldwide and lets users earn up to 2% cashback on every purchase.
The Cryptodraft and Stableloan features were also released, allowing users to access a line of credit while using their crypto as collateral.
January 2023 — BXX Exchanging Available to the CL Platform
We kicked off the new year with an exciting update to the CL Platform.
At the end of January, we updated the platform to allow exchanging of the BXX token. This not only gave BXX more usability but was also our first step to improving user experience on the platform.
February 2023 — New funding options and improved Whitelisting
The more the merrier, as they say!
Well, we were more than pleased to introduce more tokens as funding options to the CL Platform — USDT, USDC, EURT and BXX.
But the good news didn’t stop there! At the same time as these new additions, we also improved our sending flow with our Whitelist functionality. With this, users could now save trusted wallet addresses to a Whitelist, allowing them to safely transfer funds with convenience and without the risk of sending funds to the wrong address.
April 2023 — BXX Staking introduced to the CL Platform
You asked, and we delivered.
We were ecstatic to bring BXX Staking to the CL Platform at the beginning of April. This was not only a major milestone in our product development, but also a great new addition to the product that would benefit our customers.
At first, we offered up to 20% APY in staking rewards but increased this to 25% the following month. You can also unlock increased levels of interest-free spending and LTV lending packages with our Cryptodraft and Stableloan features.

June 2023 — Apple Pay introduced to the CL Card
Another significant development in our journey was introducing Apple Pay compatibility to the CL Card powered by Ledger.
This new addition meant that users in the UK & EEA could now add the CL Card to their Apple Wallet and pay directly from their iPhone — allowing for quick, secure and convenient payments.
September 2023 — Minimum amount for withdrawals decreased
More good news followed at the beginning of the autumn season, as we announced the decrease of the minimum amount for cash withdrawals in GBP & EUR.
Before, this minimum was £/€500 per withdrawal but has now dropped to £/€100 — making ATM withdrawals easier and more convenient for our customers.
September 2023 — Litecoin (LTC) added to the CL Platform
In the same month, we also added the Litecoin (LTC) token to the CL Platform.
Known as “the lite version of Bitcoin”, LTC is a popular choice for letting users make fast transactions with low fees. With such a fast, convenient and cheap way to transact, LTC was definitely a valuable addition to our product.
October 2023 — Ripple (XRP) added to the CL Platform
Just a month after releasing LTC to the CL Platform, we were excited to add the Ripple (XRP) token to our platform.
This is something that our customers have been asking for, so we were happy to finally answer their wishes by bringing this awesome addition on board.
Similar to LTC, XRP also facilitates transactions quickly and at a low cost. It’s also a popular choice for its high liquidity and ability to handle a large volume of transactions.
