The Writing Schedule That Has Made Me 4 Figures On Medium

Instead of waiting for motivation, better create it artificially

Writing is a hard task.

It’s not something that you can do on the sofa while eating popcorn and watching The Walking Dead.

You need to concentrate, have something to write on, create an image, a structure… So writing is not something that can appeal to you at any time of the day and just do it.

You need to create a schedule so that writing happens whether your body wants it or not. Consistency is the thing that will differentiate you here, so you can’t count on your “motivation” to get sh*t done every day.

I’ve been using a schedule that has worked wonderfully for a while (and has made me more than $2,300 on Medium), and maybe you can use it too.

The Schedule

For every 1,000 shitty articles written on Medium, there are 5 that are completely outstanding. While all the shitty articles make $5 between all of them, the great articles can make up to $500 each.

So the money you earn here is related to how good your articles are. The quantity is good because you attract a lot of different readers, but the quality is what gets the job done.
