Cook Methi Thepla — An ultimate snack recipe by Sajni Datwani:

Methi Thapla is light as well as a healthy snack recipe that everyone would like to have with evening tea. This mouth-watering snack recipe is also beneficial for children who don’t like green vegetables. By making this kind of ultimate snack recipe, you can give your child a pleasant happiness.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp yogurt
  • 2 teaspoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder & Coriander powder
  • ½ cup chopped fenugreek leaves
  • 1 and ½ cup wheat flour
  • Some salt and water
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • One teaspoon ginger & garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder

Method of preparation: -

  • First of all, take a large mixing bowl and add wheat flour and besan.
  • Add turmeric, sesame seeds, chili powder, carom seeds and salt.
  • After this, add ginger and green chili.
  • Now, add finely chopped fenugreek leaves.
  • Combine the mixture and stir well.
  • After this, add ½ cup of yogurt and combine the dough well.
  • Also, add some water and knead the dough.
  • Add two teaspoons of oil and knead the dough for more than 5 minutes
  • Furthermore, Pinch a standard sized ball dough, roll and compress it.
  • Now, powder some wheat flour.
  • Roll it in a lean circle akin to Chapati or paratha.
  • Now place it on the hot tawa and cook it for less than 5 minutes.
  • When the bottom is partly cooked, flip the fenugreek thepla
  • After this, brush oil / ghee and press slightly.
  • Finally, serve up Methi thepla with Raita and pickle.
