The $NEWTON Farming Guides

Thanks to everyone who participated in the last testing of our Newtonium ($NEWTON) farming platform, on our tunnel server this Thursday! This was exclusively announced in on our telegram group due to the inherent limitations of using a tunnel server (limited connections) and its short lifespan (around 30 min). Congratulation to everyone who earn some $DAI as “Apple” on this last testing!

As promised, this is now the time to come back you through Medium and detail the $NEWTON farming guides.

The “Planting Seeds Day”. At this crucial time, the NEWTON farmers must hold some $NEWTON on their own wallet. The NEWTON holders on Etherscan will be recorded at this exact time, which will then allow them to harvest “Apple” in ten days later.

The Apple Harvest Day. NEWTON farmers who have an address that held NEWTON on The Planting Seed Day can claim “Apple” during the harvest day.

First, visit our website and click “Earn”.

Secondly, connect your Metamask that contains the planting seed address to our website. Even if you don’t have any $Newton on your wallet, you will be able to claim Apples as long as you were holding during the “Planting seeds day”.

Thirdly, you can also calculate the amount of apple you will get. You just have to fill the “Earn interest” box to know the estimation of Apple; or you can directly “Claim” the apple.

The apple will be delivered to your address shortly. Congratulations! You’ve just become a $NEWTON farmer!

Let’s take an Example.

Let’s say that $DAI is the chosen apple based on farmers polling during the last farming season.

In this new season, let’s imagine that there is 500,000 DAI in the NEWTON/DAI pool on Uniswap when “the apple harvest” day arrives.

Then the number of apples which will be distributed for this season would be 500,000 DAI x 10% = 50,000 DAI (see our first article).

Now, Let’s say that your address held 1,000n (n = NEWTON) during “the planting seed” day ten days earlier.

The calculation for this example would be : 50,000DAI (10% of the apple field) / 999,000n (total supply) x 1,000n (your holdings) = 50DAI. So you would have harvest 50 apples in this case (equal to 50 $DAI) during this season (10 days for the record).

The first $NEWTON farming season will begin this week:

1. The “Planting Seed” phase will be held at 15:00 UTC on Friday, August 28, 2020.
2. The “Apple Harvest” phase will be held at 15:00 UTC on Monday, September 07, 2020.
