As a new and aspiring writer, I have decided to pursue this life and long journey and explore the world of writing.

Right now, I have my passion for learning, and my need to share and express myself.

With the small but growing knowledge I have today, I always keep in mind that my lack of experience does not define my worth as a writer or as an individual.

Instead, it serves as a canvas on which I can paint my growth and learn from my mistakes while embracing the inexperience and self-worth of aspiring writers.

I have first to appreciate what are these that are in my hand right now.

What are the resources that I need that are available around me to help me grow as a writer?

Embracing the Beginner’s Mindset

Today, people are obsessed with expertise and perfection, which makes others easy to feel overwhelmed by the weight of inexperience.

I believe most starters and beginners feel the same, but somehow it is a must to overcome this way of thinking.

That is them, and this is me.

I choose to embrace the power of the beginner’s mindset.

Anyone can make their own choice.

This mindset allows me to approach each writing endeavor with curiosity, openness, and a willingness to learn. Rather than seeing my current skill and knowledge as a limitation, it is my chance for progress and self-discovery.

I just needed time to experience and go for it, starting with trial and error.

The Trial and Error

Every step I take as a beginner, no matter how small, I seize it as a chance to learn and improve.

In each piece I write, whether it is about me, those around me, a short story, or sharing knowledge and motivation. I want to offer valuable lessons.

I have come to understand these things.

The mistakes were not failures but stepping stones toward progress.

It took me quite a few years to finally realize this, whether about the writing journey, life, or doing what you love.

Making mistakes but still trying, and trying, I am honing my writing style.

I always try new techniques or apply advice from beautiful people here in Medium and then get a better sense of my own voice.

That, before, I had no idea of.

Like, what is a writer’s voice?

Finally, I understand it through trial and error, which is helping me to see my growth in this field.

Personal Growth

As I realized certain things in my writing journey, I noticed, I was slowly getting somewhere.

It comes around with personal growth, self-awareness, and the development of resilience.

Because of writing, I have discovered a newfound confidence in expressing my thoughts and emotions.

Each word I typed, sentence I made, and paragraph I generated strengthened my belief in my ability to communicate and connect with others.

Because in writing, I can share my views and convey my thoughts that when compared to talking, I’ll be lost.

I also learned that writing shows how I value others and, more importantly, myself.

Promote Self-Worth

It is a world where personal worth comes with what they can see as someone’s else visible achievements.

It’s like when you get enough engagement on a post you will be worthy, and those who didn’t will then feel like a failure.

But it is not about the engagement you can receive because what’s really crucial is to nurture someone’s self-worth from within.

What you feel inside matters, cultivate self-worth!

Whether you are starting, or already an excellent writer, but somehow feel stuck and self-deprecating. Don’t!

You are always worth it! Even if you are in your own moment or slowly making self-growth. You are always worth it.

Build self-worth from within, do not base yourself on how others see you.

As an aspiring writer, I understand the importance of celebrating small victories, acknowledging my efforts, and recognizing the courage it takes to share my work.

What I do is focus more on the process and should not be negatively affected by the nonsense reaction of the public. Instead, I always listen to critiques with good intentions and pieces of advice.

Because right now, rather than seeing things that are out of my reach, I am a child enjoying the little improvements I am making daily.

It is the Journey

Writing is a lifelong journey. It’s always on my mind.

Experienced writers say that if you want to earn money fast, writing isn’t the way.

Writing is being in a long-term relationship. You need to update, respond, and love.

Update posts regularly, based on your schedule.

Respond to the comments.

Love what you do and share the care.

I remind myself every time I feel down that even the most experienced writers were once beginners.

Each word, and sentence I wrote, is a fundamental part of my unique and my own journey.

My lack of experience no longer defines me, but I am entitled to study, grow, and progress as a writer.

For Now

I think this is getting longer, so, lastly, I must say that embracing the lack of experience as a writer taught me that self-worth is not a reflection of expertise but a proof of courage, perseverance, and personal growth.

By embracing the inexperience and self-worth of aspiring writers, I am taking step-by-step growth.

I consider all of these opportunities that are set ahead of me as I continue to write.

I can share my words with the world, and motivate others while I am also growing on my own.

As new writers, we have unique perspectives and voices that have the power to inspire and connect with others.

Embrace your inexperience and trust in the transformative journey of self-discovery through writing.

Happy writing!
