In today’s rapidly evolving world, the success of products and services heavily relies on their ability to meet users’ ever-changing needs. As society progresses and technology advances, the context in which these products and services are used also undergoes significant transformations. Consequently, redesigns become an inevitable and crucial aspect of the design process as it allows for adaptation and improvement.

At its core, the need for redesign stems from the fundamental principle that design is never truly finished. Moreover, even though in this series I’m using the terminology word ReDesign, we can argue that “redesign” as such is non-existent since the design is never finished; it is a neverending process of transformation. When the design is “finished,” it’s basically abandoned.

Considering all this, even the most well-designed solutions are not immune to the passage of time and users’ shifting demands. As new challenges and opportunities arise, designers must be ready to adapt and iterate on their creations to ensure they remain relevant and valuable.
