Today the latest video from Cannabis News Network was released and once again it features Ireland. If you haven’t seen any previous videos from CNN then I encourage you to watch them. Last week two videos highlighting medical cannabis in Ireland were released.

The footage was recorded during a recent visit to Ireland by Steven from Cannabis News Network. It was great to meet Steven during his visit and I hope our paths cross again. Steven does fantastic work by showcasing some of the lesser known cannabis and hemp stories from around the globe.

Hemp In Ireland

This latest episode highlights the work of Marcus McCabe and Kate Mullaney in County Monaghan. Marcus and Kate are the team behind Hempire Building and Kama Hemp. Hempire provides hemp building materials for use and Kama Hemp provides hemp juice. Both companies use hemp that is grown locally by Marcus and Kate.

Marcus and Kate have been involved with the hemp industry for a number of years and have recently expanded some of their facilities. As seen in the video they grow their hemp in some of the most picturesque areas in Ireland. This year in Ireland only eight hemp licenses were issued, so it’s fascinating the see the work of Marcus and Kate highlighted. They are among the pioneers in Ireland who are keeping hemp from completely disappearing from Irish soil.

A second video featuring Joel Stanley’s visit to our museum was also due to be released today. However, yesterday’s announcement regarding CBD in the UK means this video is now delayed until it’s updated to feature this breaking news, as this announcement may have repercussions for other countries.
