Dune Network Wallets Restoration Programme
Many investors who participated in Tezos’ ICO have lost their passwords or have forgotten the emails they used to derive their wallets. Although they could still complete Tezos’ KYC/AML verification and obtain an activation key, without their private key, they cannot interact with the wallet, with no means of retrieving any stored crypto-currencies. The private key cannot be recovered without the registered email and wallet password. Such individuals will face the same challenge on Dune Network. We propose here a simple solution for them.
Prerequisites
- You have the original ‘tz1’ address generated during Tezos’ ICO;
- You have completed Tezos’ KYC/AML verification and obtained an activation key;
- You haven’t activated your Tezos ICO wallet nor your Dune Network account;
Steps
- You generate a fresh ‘dn1’ address on Dune Network (you must not use your Tezos activation key). For that, you can use the Dune Web Wallet, Dune Client or Dune Network’s Ledger Nano S application;
- You complete and submit the below-linked Google Form, providing us with the required fields of information;
- We verify your allocation on Dune Network and transfer the corresponding amount of $DUN to your fresh ‘dn1’ address;
- We notify you by email once the process is completed.

Important note
The above-described process will not offer a solution if you already activated your account on Tezos or on Dune Network. We are aware that some people will not fit the prerequisites of this programme, but it’s the best we can do without compromising the principles of ownership of accounts on Dune Network.
If you have activated your account on Dune Network or on Tezos but you cannot restore your wallet because you forgot your password, please consider using the tool announced recently by Tezos Foundation to brute-force investors’ lost passwords.
