Duners!

It has been an amazing couple of weeks at Dune!

The responses that we have received in launching the network have been incredible!

Establishing the network, and it’s infrastructure, as well as airdropping Dun tokens to 24000 addresses has been both exciting and challenging in equal measure! On behalf of the whole team, we’d like to express our enormous gratitude to everybody involved who’ve expressed support!

As part of our ongoing commitment to transparent and open communication with the Dune community, every Saturday, I’ll be posting a brief, informal summary of recent events.

Development;

  • Wednesday the 11th saw the all-important launch of Dune Network’s Public Mainnet! Also released simultaneously to the mainnet, were Dune Web Wallet and Dunscan.
  • Alongside the web wallet, application listing of the Dune Ledger Application for Ledger Live has been submitted. With the process taking only a few weeks, we are very confident that it shall soon be approved.
  • The Dune Network Gitlab Repository was also released this week. Utilising such tools, advanced users are now able to build a node or a client, and create their baking service.
  • Also for more advanced users, Fabrice posted an article detailing the newly added ‘Batch Transfer’ function this week. Do give it a read!

Media coverage

  • Alongside the incredible amount of eyes upon our Medium blog, Dune has been featured in several cryptocurrency-related publications over the last several days. One of our favorites from this week is; Coinhouse; Dune
