Duners!

I’ve got a lot to recap this week, and a couple of exciting new developments I can exclusively tell you about today, so let’s get straight ‘Dune’ to it!

Development

This week sees the release of the Dune mobile wallet (on iOS and Android)! Beautifully designed and developed for Dune Network by renowned blockchain experts, Chainzilla, you can now access your $DUN anytime, anywhere! We expect the first versions of the App to be available for download by Monday!

Accompanied by a step-by-step walk-through video, the technical documentation for Baking on Dune has been updated. See the video produced by Well Dune, ‘Baking on a Private/Local Network’, here.
Also announced on the technical front this week was the news that Ironmin — an improved storage layer using just 1/10th of the current disk usage — is coming to Dune Network! Read all about the finer details here.

Community and Partnerships

Since announcing the Validator programme, the number of applications we have received has been outstanding! I can confirm that, at the time of writing, ten of the applicants have already received their delegation. We expect the remainder to be processed in the coming days. In the wake of massive OTC demand for $DUN, we are excited to welcome Woorton to the Dune Network ecosystem. Woorton, a leading European market-maker, will be providing their institutional grade OTC platform to support $DUN. With the ability to provide services in twenty-seven fiat currencies (as well as most leading cryptocurrencies, of course!), check them out here!
I can also confirm that members of the team will be making appearances at both “Digital Melee 2019”, Toulouse, October 2nd and “Investir Day”, Paris, October 3rd.
