Everyone who lives in or has visited Lagos is familiar with the Third Mainland Bridge. So, I’ve crossed it many times.

When I rode in a car on the Third Mainland Bridge recently, I couldn’t help but marvel at the vast expanse of water. It was incredibly huge and breathtaking.

If you’re not a medium-paying member, read it here for free.

Even though I’d seen the Lagos Lagoon before, this time it left a strong impression on my mind.

In Genesis 1:1,2 the Bible says,

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

While I looked at the big water, I couldn’t stop thinking about how amazing it must have been for Almighty God to move on those waters.

It helped me to understand a little better how powerful and mighty God is. Sometimes, we humans tend to forget, especially when life gives us challenges, whether they’re lemons or watermelons (laughs).

It got me thinking, “My God made all of this?!😨”

This water that goes on forever, my father made that.
