FRĀMD Year in Review

2022 has been an exciting year for our startup, and we are grateful to our supportive community for making it all possible. In this year in review, we’ll reflect on some of our biggest achievements and share what’s coming up in 2023.

Significant achievements of 2022:

• May 7: We rebranded from Crypto Whale Portraits to FRĀMD.
• May 20: We published the FRĀMD Whitepaper, becoming the first NFT-based project to do so on the ICON network.
• May 27: The Yeti Strong Club collection launched on Craft Network.
• May 28: The FRĀMD team was interviewed by Eye On ICON; you can watch the interview on YouTube.
• June 7: FRĀMD partnered with 16-Bit Fight Club.
• July 4: Whitepaper was translated into French, Korean, and Spanish.
• July 7: FRĀMD launched its validator node on the ICON Blockchain and quickly rose up the rankings to become a main validator!
• July 11: FRĀMD deployed the $FRMD and Treasury Smart Contracts on the ICON mainnet, using POS rewards to drive sustainable protocol-owned liquidity, a protocol treasury, and rewards distribution.
• July 11: We announced additional voting incentives to benefit from the launch of the bOMM model on OMM.
• July 12: An FRMD/sICX liquidity pool was deployed on the Balanced DEX.
• July 14: FRĀMD and SNOW Network partnered for SNOW’s parachain auction campaign.
• July 21: FRĀMD partnered with Karma Finance.
• July 25: FRĀMD reallocated 25% of the daily node rewards (from the Treasury’s share) towards the 5% bond requirement.
• July 28: FRĀMD became a top 10 validator.
• August 8: FRĀMD partnered with Alter to produce 50 limited edition YTSC caps.
• August 9: Community member Thomas released a new Yeti ranking website.
• August 17: FRĀMD celebrated its 1-year anniversary.
• August 31: FRĀMD published its whitepaper in French.
• September 19: We announced the start of Thaenia’s marketing campaign, introducing a new character and associated lore every Monday.
• September 27: The Yeti utility in Thaenia — Dark tides is revealed.
• October 18: The FRĀMD website went live, along with the $FRMD app.
• December 2: The community suggested the formation of a Yeti lottery system which should launch in January 2023.
• December 16: FRĀMD and Alter partnered to develop “The Redemption Platform” as a joint project and ecosystem partner.

Total Rewards/ Tokenomics

In terms of tokenomics, since our validator node went live and smart contracts were deployed, the FRĀMD ecosystem has generated approximately 67300 ICX from node rewards and approximately 11300 ICX from secondary sales.

All node rewards have been distributed according to our tokenomics model, with 50% going to LP, 15% to $FRMD stakers, 25% to the bond, and 10% to the treasury. Secondary sales fees are distributed among $FRMD stakers (50%), LP (25%), and the team (25%).

We are proud to report that 76.57% of the $FRMD circulating supply is staked, demonstrating the confidence our community has in our project.

What to Expect in 2023

The new year promises to be our biggest yet! It will be packed with releases and new projects all of which will take the FRĀMD to the next level. What to expect:

• The community driven Yeti Lottery will go live.
• Yeti NFT Staking with a gamified spin. Once a yeti NFT is minted, it will generate FRMD tokens for 1 year. To continue earning $FRMD after the first year, the Yeti NFT will have to be staked.
• Thaenia — Dark Tides will launch! Thaenia — Dark Tides will be a P2E auto-battler style trading card game on the ICON Network!
• Yeti X Alter caps to go live soon!
• FRĀMD and Alter to release Redemption, a platform dedicated to redeemable NFTs. Redemption is the next step in increasing blockchain and NFT technology adoption.
• FRĀMD’s first Art-Fi partner, 16-Bit Fight Club, is expected to launch its generative mint collection in 2023 as well!
• The expansion of our partnerships and collaborations with other projects and organizations. We already revealed that we are working on a truly unique project. We hope to release more information soon. We are also constantly looking for new ecosystem partners and hope to onboard more partner projects.
• In addition to the above, the team is constantly exploring with new ideas and novel approaches to make our ecosystem more efficient and more valuable. Stay tuned for more information soon!
