Hello everyone and welcome to yet another report from The GameCredits Foundation.

Before we get started, we wanted to share a friendly reminder that the official GameCredits website is https://gamecredits.org

Also, we want to apologize for breaking a streak of publishing regular weekly reports. We’ll return to that reason a bit later. Now, let’s move on to a real deal!

Details for this reporting period

  • GCF Roadmap published! See it here
  • GCF’s Business-Development team has reached out to Poloniex and Bittrex exchanges to enable USDT markets. We’re currently awaiting their decision.
  • A couple more exchanges have been reached out, in a purpose of finding out what is their listing process and cost.
  • QLEAR collaboration/integration is growing fast! You’ll hear more about our work with QLEAR over the next few days/weeks.
  • In order of improving transparency and trust within our community, we’re in negotiations with one of the world’s leading finance companies.
  • GCF’s Technical department is working on reestablishing GC Lite and the original GameCredits Block Explorer.
  • New GCF development team has been established, and is currently undergoing full structuring and organization. They will focus primarily on building new Payment processor (API), integration libraries, and other roadmap items!
  • CVE-2018–17144 has been patched in the master branch of the project — exchanges, mining pools, and other services operating 24/7 nodes are requested to update immediately to mitigate a DoS attack
  • We’ve encountered a minor bug on GC Network (RegTest mode, to be more specific), and our dev team is working hard on fixing it ASAP.
  • We’ve added a new repository to our project — our fork of Iquidus Block Explorer. https://github.com/gamecredits-project/explorer

How do you like these updates guys? We’re always open for new suggestions, advices and opinions, so feel free to reach out to us about how to improve our work even more!

There’s always a way to include some fun!

Recently, we’ve got this intriguing idea from a community member in our ‘community-suggestions’ Discord channel.

As GCF’s current balance is approximately 166,724 GAME, and that donation addresses are still open (check GCF’s previous article), we’re still hoping for a few more donations. And this guy has come up with a pretty interesting solution to that!

We’re seriously considering this, people! What would you think of this, y’all? Let us know!

Bon voyage to a familiar face.

As we’ve mentioned in the beginning of this report; we’ve missed out on last week’s report due to one reason only.

That’s because there has been a slight restructure in GCF’s team; Acting PR/Marketing Lead — Coa, which has been a community manager (alongside Jack Kuveke, since April this year) has decided to step down from that position, and move to a new position as counselor/advisor to the current team.

As he decided to explore new options, and try himself in other challenges upon him, he’ll minimize his activities for The GameCredits Foundation.

It’s been a hell of a ride, Coa! However, The GameCredits Foundation has already started searching for new people which will help and work on GAME project. We’re expecting a solid back-up very soon! Stay tuned.
