You’ve scoured the internet to obtain the secret ingredients, making nary a player more worthy of being among the first and only Genesis Habitat holders. After a brain-bending Treasure Hunt, the minting of Genesis Habitats is upon us. It’s time to put your hard-earned crystals to use. Pat yourself on the back and get ready to reap the ultimate treasure.
THIS MONDAY, April 4th, 2022, Lvl 1 Genesis Habitat minting will begin. The crafting window to mint Genesis Habitats will last for a month. There’s no rush to be first to mint and supply is only limited by the total amount of crystals in the market.
Remember, you will need 1 Refined Genotype Crystal from each Elemental Class (Earth, Water, Metal, Fire & Wood), a Terraform Seed, 10 GENE, and a negligible amount of SOL in your wallet (just enough for the transaction fees — around 0.0001 SOL). If you’re missing any of the elements of Refined Crystals, you can purchase them from Fractal, Magic Eden, or FTX. It’s time to prepare ourselves for the Genesis Habitat reveal.
All Habitats embody the essence of one out of the five Elemental Classes: Earth, Water, Metal, Fire, and Wood, determining the class of unrefined crystals that it will spawn. For the Genesis Habitat mint, the Elemental Class of your Habitat will be generated at random and adorned with a bright Genesis Emblem. However, Genesis Habitats will have the unique ability to spawn unrefined crystals of any type, allowing you to have the benefits of owning multiple Habitats — kind of like a “5-in-1” so to speak. Owning a Habitat will enable you to convert your steps into KI Token. With a Genesis Habitat, you can earn bonus KI for every step.
Unrefined crystals are not NFTs. They have no real value and can’t be traded or withdrawn to your wallet. Once you refine your unrefined crystals, they will turn into NFTs called Genotype Crystals, a type of Refined Crystal NFT that carries special in-game properties. When the minting window ends next month, the total supply of Lvl 1 Genesis Habitats will be set. That will be the total supply to ever exist in the Genoverse.
