Glacier is building a composable, modular and scalable L2 data network for large-scale Dapps, with the mission of empowering decentralized apps (DApp) to build on decentralized databases (DDB). It provides programmable data composability powered by L2 rollup solutions to seamlessly and effortlessly handle datasets with NoSQL GlacierDB.

In terms of architecture, Glacier Network is built on top of BNB Greenfield, a decentralized data storage layer. By integrating with BNB Greenfield, the Glacier Network provides enhanced scalability, reliability, and security in decentralized databases.

Glacier recently announced a 2.9M seed round, participated by ForesightX, UOB Venture Management, Signum Capital, Cogitent Ventures, and Gate Labs.

Additionally, Glacier has also crossed significant markers, and among these achievements, the launch of Glacier SDK 2.0 and the securing of a set of grants (from PermaDAO in Arweave ecosystem, Boundless Hackathon Stanford, Foresight X Accelerator, and Aptos Grant Dao) stand out as pivotal moments, pointing to the vibrancy of the data composability solution.

📌 Rules and Notes

To join the campaign, you need to :

• Head to Glacier Network.
• Establish your own decentralized database (on Glacier — Greenfield Playground) by creating a Namespace → Dataset → Collection.
• Insert at least two documents (rows) into one collection.
• Claim your $GLC Eligibility OAT on Galxe Platform.

• Kindly remind you to pay attention to your privacy since the data is transparent on-chain at the moment.
• Don’t leave blanks in your documents, and the documents should not be meaningless words.
• Any malicious actions will result in the deletion of participants’ eligibility.
• The $GLC tokens used in programs strictly follow the latest vesting schedule.

📖 User Guide

1. Head to Glacier Network and click “Launch App”.

2. Create Namespace: Click “Create Namespace” and provide a name. The Namespace is the first-level unit in Glacier.

3. Create Dataset: Click “Create Dataset” to name your dataset. The Dataset is the secondary unit in Glacier.

4. Create Collection: The collection is the third-level unit in Glacier. It is like a table, and you need to customize it first.

Note: The setup below can be followed when customizing the collection’s fields to make it easier for you👇

5. Insert at least 2 documents (rows) into the collection.

6. Claim the $GLC Eligibility OAT on Galxe platform.
