Good Minds x Hyype: An NFT-based Journaling Experiment
Today, we finally get to announce a partnership that we’ve been working on with Hyype since this past summer.
TLDR: We’re kicking off an NFT-based journaling exercise for Good Minds holders.
The goal is to encourage our community to pause, reflect, and share their lives with one another in a way that is meaningful.
Hyype is a content platform that offers NFT holders a means to create and share writing, lore, art, etc. in connection to a particular NFT. What we’re doing is using the platform to run a journaling exercise where Good Minds NFTs are required to participate.
This flips the idea of “utility” on its head a bit, focusing on what you get to do with us vs. what you get to receive from us. More details below.
The first prompt we’ll be using is a simple question, something that isn’t too personal to share online, but hopefully is still worth spending time thinking about, and that is: “How do you find flow?”
We’ll define flow simply as a state of total immersion in a task where your attention is fully engaged.
Are there times, activities, habits where you’re in flow? What does this look like for you?
If you’d like to share an answer to this question, the steps are as follows:
- Go to Hyype’s website here
- Connect your Ethereum wallet (eg. Metamask)
- Make a basic profile (1 minute)
- You’ll then see a “post” button, which will prompt you to post an “image” or “lore” (i.e. writing)
- Select “lore,” pick a Good Minds NFT to attach your writing to, then you will be able to start typing
- Add the tag “#flow” at the end of your response, then post it
What we’re hoping to see are 25 or more responses from members of our community. This could be a single paragraph, something of a longer length, a poem, or even a piece of art if you’d like to respond to this question about flow in a visual way (in this case simply click “image” in step 4 above instead of “lore”).
Everyone who submits a response will be added to the airdrop list for a Wanda fraction, and the top three entries (as judged by the Good Minds team) will win a Good Minds NFT!
