Hana makes multi-chain crypto simple — https://hanawallet.io/

This guide is for anyone who wants to use Hana to claim their SNOW airdrop. If you’re not familiar with the airdrop or eligibility criteria head over here.

For eligible ICX holders, you will need an ICON and SNOW wallet to claim the airdrop.

With a recent update, we have added SNOW to Hana. This is great news for Hana users. You can claim the airdrop all from Hana. You don’t need to install another wallet 🎉

Ledger users: There is currently no SNOW Ledger app, therefore Ledger support for the airdrop is not supported within Hana. You can still claim from Ledger to a software wallet (Hana, Polkadot.js) directly on the SNOW airdrop site. Once the SNOW Ledger app is released the airdrop will be fully supported in Hana

Polkadot.js users: You can use your original seed phrase from Polkadot.js to create an account in Hana and your Polkadot/Kusama assets will show up. It’s coming but for now, there isn’t full support for importing a Keystore file from Polkadot.jsinto Hana. If you have a Polkadot.js wallet you want to use for the airdrop you should use it as you currently do.

Getting Hana ready

Step 1 — Import wallets

If your wallets aren’t already imported to Hana check out these guides:

Migrating from MyIconWallet to Hana

Migrating from ICONex to Hana

Step 2— Make sure SNOW is enabled

From the Portfolio screen click “Settings” in the tab menu, and select “Connected chains”. In the list make sure “SNOW” is enabled.

Step 3— Check your version is up to date

You should already be on the latest version of Hana but double-check by selecting “Settings”, and scroll down to the bottom of the page to check the version.

If you’re on an old version and want to force the update you check out this guide https://support.cloudhq.net/how-to-manually-update-chrome-extensions/

Step 4 — View your SNOW address

From the Portfolio screen select the wallet name to show all your addresses for this wallet. Note your SNOW address.

Now you're ready to claim the SNOW airdrop 🎉

Claiming the airdrop

Once the airdrop has started go to https://airdrop.snow.icenetwork.io/.

Select “ICON wallet”

You will be prompted to authorize the dApp. Toggle the wallet to authorize and click “Authorize”.

Note your ICON address used to claim the airdrop.

Select “Hana” under “Sign in with SNOW wallet”

Note your SNOW address used to claim the airdrop.

Double-check the amount of ICZ you’re eligible for.

When you’re ready to proceed click the “Claim” button.

You will be prompted to sign two transactions within Hana.

The first transaction is from your ICON wallet. Review and click “Sign”.

The second transaction is from your SNOW wallet. Review and click “Sign”.

After a few seconds, you should see a successful claim page.

Load your Hana wallet and check your SNOW balance.

Congratulation you’ve successfully claimed your SNOW airdrop 🎉

If you have an additional wallet in Hana you will need to repeat the process for each wallet. Every ICON address in Hana is a unique SNOW address.
