Easily Edit Images & Post to Social Media
An A/B test performed by Buffer revealed that posting tweets with images increased the number of retweets an average of 150%.
Despite the fact that including images in tweets greatly increases engagement, many users still do not take full advantage of this fact.
One reason why many people do not post images to their tweets is because, well, it takes some effort. However, using a tool like Heroic Social makes it incredibly easy not just to post images, but to edit them, add effects, create memes, and more on the fly.
Let’s take a look at some of the things Heroic Social can do for posting images. To get started, open up the Publisher tools and click the “Compose Status” button.
This will bring up the new post dialog. There are two ways then to add an image to your post:
- Uploading an image that you currently have saved on your computer
- Looking up images from a URL and selecting one
To upload one of your images to your post, simply click the camera icon and browse to that image on your computer.
However, more often than not, most users choose to look up images at a URL. Using this method you can start typing out your post and if it includes a link, a button will appear below the text box labeled “Lookup images from URL”.
Clicking this button will grab all images on that page and enable you to select one of them to include in your post.
You can navigate through the images on the page using the left and right arrow buttons on the post dialog. But here is where it gets really interesting. Click the link above the image labeled “Open Image Editor” to open the powerful image editor powered by Adobe Creative Cloud.
Here you can see the multitude of options to edit your image including:
- Effects
- Frames
- Stickers
- Orientation
- Crop
- Lighting
- Focus
- Blemish
- Draw
- Text
- Meme
- & More!
In other words, we can transform our image in any way we like with just a few clicks. For example:
When you are happy with the changes you have made to the image, just click the Save button and you will be brought back to the post dialog with the updated image.
Finalize the text of your status update, select one or more social media accounts on which the post should be published, and click the “Add to Queue” button.
Your post is now scheduled to be posted according to your Heroic Social publishing schedule. You can click the image on the “Queued Status Updates” page to see a bigger preview of what will be posted to your account(s).
It’s that easy to post high quality, relevant, edited images to your social media profiles if you use the right tools for the job. Heroic Social enables you to look up any image you want and provides powerful editing tools to make your post stand out from the rest and increase your engagement.
You can also set up groups of posts called Post Buckets to continuously keep posting your best content to your profiles automatically.
