Himachal Pradesh is full of astonishing mountain views, peaceful landscapes, and the adventures. Himachal actually means “the land of snow”. It has many hill stations which are the most appropriate locations to find its beauty and this blog also contain some famous destinations in the lap of Himachal Pradesh.

1. Kullu-Manali –

Kullu and Manali are the most loved destinations for the explorers. All the nature lovers and the people who want some fresh air for a change from their daily routine can make a trip to the beautiful valleys of Kullu and Manali. The newly married couples also find this place the perfect place for the honeymoon. It’s a marvelous destination to the living beings in the busy cities like Chandigarh and Delhi.

There are many things which you can do here, some are trekking, camping, river rafting, angling and just indulge in the adventure at Solang valley.

Some nearby places you can visit while you enjoy the nature, like|Manikaran, Malana, Kheerganga and also the divine temples.

2. Shimla –

This place is the most pleasing one to visit in Himachal Pradesh.

Shimla is also one of the famous hill-stations of Northern India which is comprised of both the British parts and Indian prestige. It is the suitable area to visit either you go with the family or with the friends. The nearest places from where you can reach and explore this attraction are Kalka which is further connected to Chandigarh and Delhi. Some of the activities that you can do in Shimla comprise of trekking to Jakhu hill and visit Lord Hanuman’s Temple, shopping and roam around mall road and you can also visit the Viceregal Lodge to admire the British elegance.

3. Dharamsala –

Himachal Pradesh is actually fond of the silent and peaceful locations. Here is the another one named Dharamshala which also the resident of Dalai Lama. This place should definitely be in your traveling list. In Dharamshala, you will also get the privilege to explore the culture of Tibetan with Indian culture. This place is good for both the group and solo travelers. Pathankot railway station is the nearest one from Dharamshala and you can also arrive here from Delhi and Chandigarh. You can also visit some more amazing places in Dharamshala like the monasteries, the Kangra Fort, the Kangra Art Museum, Dalai Lama temple, Bhagsunath temple and tea plantation in the Kangra Valley.

4. Bir Billing –

Bir Billing is the center of attraction for the adventurous ones who love the adventure sports. If you are too interested in experiencing the adventure a lot, you should definitely go to this marvelous place and gain irresistible memories. Bir is basically a small village situated in the western part of Himachal full of the fresh environment. The backpackers and trekkers can enjoy the beauty of Bir Billing which is there in nearby places like Dharamshala, Pathankot, and Baijnath. You can also visit the Buddhism monasteries located in the Bhattu, attractive Himalayan valleys, Chaugan, and many other areas.

5. Dalhousie –

As we have discussed the popular hill stations of Himachal Pradesh, here is another one. This is Dalhousie which is also called the mini Switzerland of India. The newlyweds are obsessed with the natural love which they found in the charm of Dalhousie. Some things that you can do in the peace of Dalhousie are a walk or trek in the Dainkund Walk, Bakrota walk and Ganji Pahadi Walk. You can further pay a visit to the oldest church named the St. John’s Church which is a historical intimation. Some near places to Dalhousie are Kalatop, Khajjiar, and Dharamshala.
