Questions

• What do the mothers with children see when they look into Jesus’ eyes?
• Jesus heals the child’s disease with a touch, what does He heal in the mother?
• Why is Christ’s attention to things “accounted small” higher proof of His greatness than His miracles?
• What do you consider important for God’s work? Could you be in error as the disciples were?
• Is Christ drawing you into His presence today? Does He understand your cares and burdens?
• If we blessed children would it have the same effect on the mothers? On the children?
• “Christ is today the same compassionate Saviour…” Have you been to Him for blessing today?

The big question:

• So far we have the stories of healing Peter’s mother-in-law, John the Baptist’s doubts and now Jesus blessing the children. What does each story show about what is important to Jesus?
