What is the reissue?
We will be distributing a new token to all current Hydro token owners which matches their current token balances at the time of the reissue. All current wallets will receive new Hydro tokens.
When will the reissue occur?
The reissue will occur before end of day, Thursday 3/15 EST.
Why are we reissuing Hydro?
We have expanded the scope/plans for the project. We want to get ahead of future issues and update things now to provide for a more modular structure.
What do I do with my old tokens?
Prior to the reissue, we recommend leaving your old tokens in your wallet. The old tokens will lose compatibility with our Raindrop API after 3/20/2018 and will not be compatible with any of our future APIs. After the reissue, as the new tokens will have the same name as the new token, it will be confusing for you to have two tokens with the same name in your wallets. Accordingly, we will provide a burner address for you to send the old token to. If you wish to hold onto your old tokens for any reason, you are more than welcome to; however, we strongly discourage it.
What can I do with new tokens?
New tokens will be immediately functional with Hydrogen’s Raindrop API to add a layer of security to systems. They will also work with our future APIs in the roadmap below.
Was the bug in the transferFrom function resolved?
We have resolved the bug, and the new contract code will be openly available upon release for you to freely compare to the previous contract.
