Born to Run is pioneering a new style of wellness and fitness event that is designed for those who want to become more active, and join an organized run, but cannot find the time to join a big event at a set place or date — the virtual run.
Road to London is their inaugural virtual run event. Runners will stand a chance to win flights to London to join the Glow in the Park London running event.
Joining this run can also be about giving back to society. A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to The Hub 香港樂童行 for the promotion of children’s well-being.

What is a virtual run?
A virtual run is a self motivated race that can be completed at any location or time, meaning you do not have to physically turn up to a race starting line.
A virtual run can be a perfect event for busy urban professionals who might not be able to join a race at a set time or place, but nevertheless desires to participate in a fitness activity with a virtual group.
Run anywhere, anytime, with anyone, for as long as you like
Not having to be at a particular location at a particular time means that you have tremendous flexibility regarding when and where you “join” the race virtually.
You could complete your virtual race in your lunch break, before/after work, on a treadmill at the gym or participating in other races. It doesn’t matter where or when you do it! You don’t even have to be in Hong Kong (you could be aboard the ISS!) at all.
All you need is some tracking software on your phone or other wearable devices so that you can upload a record of your run.
With the device tracking your run, you don’t even need to finish the entire length in one go. You can upload as many runs as you wish.
Be Recognized for Achieving
Born to Run will give all runners who complete the 10km run with a medal to recognize their achievement! The medal is limited edition to this particular event.
You don’t even need to complete all 10km in one stretch, just piece together enough runs to make up that distance. (There is a leader board for those runners who complete the 10km in the least time and least number of runs to motivate those who are competitive)
