Client Highlight

Real-Time Innovations (RTI), the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) connectivity company, hosted their annual company kickoff this quarter. The Karbo Com team attended various sessions led by RTI’s executive team, including the keynote presentation from CEO, Dr. Stan Schneider. The team discussed RTI’s growth in 2016, as well as their goals for 2017. Karbo Com also secured two contributed article placements for Stan this quarter, discussing a new architectural pattern called a “databus” in ARC Advisory Group’s Industrial IoT blog and IIoT connectivity in TechTarget’s IoT Agenda. Additionally, the account team secured an interview for Stan with a reporter at CNN, on the topic of Yahoo’s recent sale to Verizon, resulting in a quote from Stan discussing the impact this move will have on Silicon Valley (see highlight coverage below).

Here is the RTI team during their company kickoff in Levi’s Stadium.

RTI made great strides in their work with the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC), the largest consortia in the IoT, where they hold several leadership positions. RTI helped author and finalize multiple IIoT frameworks, including the newest version of the Industrial Internet Reference Architecture (IIRA)and the Industrial Internet Connectivity Framework (IICF), which aim to enable the successful implementation of large IIoT systems. The account team helped drive the promotion strategy, announcing the development of these frameworks and RTI’s recent award wins for their work in the IIC.

The new year is already off to a great start with an exciting Q1. We continued to develop our digital marketing skills via a Google AdWords class, attended this year’s Startup Grind conference, celebrated two birthdays, wore red to support International Women’s Day and volunteered at a local San Francisco food bank.

We welcomed two new clients this quarter and attended our existing clients’ company kick offs. TDK senior account manager, Kim Lianthamani, traveled to Florida to support the company at APEC. We look forward to another fantastic year with our partners, clients and team.
