What do Yin-Yang, Charlie Munger, a lotus and barbell have in common?
Using DALL-E, I created a painting (below) representing some ideas that have been stewing in my head for the past several years . Here’s more on how I used DALL-E to paint.
About the painting
Through the embers of creation, arises a human figure, striving to balance opposites.
When Charlie Munger says, “I never allow myself to have an opinion on anything that I don’t know the other side’s argument better than they do”, I visualize that as the age old wisdom embedded in Yin-Yang, which takes center stage in the painting.
Two bright red sun like images are DallE’s cubist interpretation of a Lotus, which epitomizes the idea of being in the world, but not of it.
It might seem paradoxical that a 29 year old who left behind his queen and one year old son stumbled upon on the middle-path 7 years later. The road to the middle path was anything but the middle.
I’m sure to keep revisiting and revising ideas from an old piece of mine. The duel of the Dual shall continue.
